The air was thick with panic. Sirens howled outside the hospital as screams echoed through sterile halls. Atticus James, an off-duty paramedic with weary eyes and steady hands, was supposed to be heading home. Instead, he found himself kneeling beside a wounded nurse, pressing gauze to her side, whispering reassurances as masked gunmen roamed the corridors.
He could have escaped.
He didn’t.
When a child froze in the crossfire, Atticus moved without hesitation—body over body, arms shielding fragile life. A single shot. A flash of heat. Then silence.
Death came not with fear, but with a strange peace.
And then… he opened his eyes.
Bathed in a light that defied earthly understanding, Atticus stood before a presence that radiated power and calm—God. His sacrifice had not gone unnoticed. For a man who gave everything without asking for anything, a reward was offered: a new life… and two wishes.
Atticus' mind, ever calm even in chaos, made his choice.
Reincarnate him into the world of Overlord—a brutal landscape of power and survival.
And make him Alucard, the legendary vampire of Castlevania, a figure carved from myth and sorrow. Not just a weapon, but a soul with memories—his memories—intact.
With knowledge of what is to come, and the power to challenge it, Atticus' journey begins anew—not as a man, but as a myth reborn.
A protector cloaked in darkness.
A savior forged from blood and mercy.

I really like the idea of this story; it’s not perfect, but it’s still very early in the story. The character interactions are decent, and the Mc’s not an evil edge lord, at least not to the point of being too annoying. I do feel that the lore for the Mc's character background would be much more acceptable if Momonga were not transported to the new world as well, but I suggest giving it a read.
I'm a bit confused about what to think of this fanfic, honestly. The main character feels like a roleplayer, similar to Ainz, but not in a funny or endearing way instead, it comes across poorly. It seems like you're trying to make him as mysterious as possible, but to me, he just appears to be a manchild, lashing out in all directions. I can't get over how cringeworthy it is when he tries to act like he is Dracula's son. It seems as though he has started to believe it himself, and he talks as if he and Satoru have been through a thousand real battles, when in reality, they just played a game. He seems to have a grudge against Albedo, lashing out at her at every opportunity. Then, in the next instance, he beds her. As I mentioned, his emotions and personality are all over the place.
