Subin has been in her new position for six days.
One would think she would be happy about this, but she is not. It has been extremely difficult for her. She ran wherever the manager told her to go all day long. She did whatever the manager told her to do. She said what the manager told her to say. She even went home when he told her to. Yet he himself did nothing. He just sat in his office and gave orders to his subordinates. Then there was Choi InSuk, the beautiful rival, who did nothing at all. She hung around the bangtans, not letting them take a step without her. That was starting to annoy the guys.
Namjoon was the first to stop answering her stupid questions. Yoongi didn't hesitate either; he told her directly that she was annoying him, then covered his ears with headphones so he wouldn't have to hear her squeaky voice. Jin and Hoseok argued about something, making it clear to her that they didn't want to talk to her. Taehyung sat quietly in the corner, looking at his phone. Meanwhile, Jimin and Jungkook trained, ignoring her.
After her evening run, Subin brought everyone hot drinks from the café around the corner, including her rival, since she had ordered a latte with cream for herself. But as soon as she took a sip of coffee, she screamed in a voice that wasn't her own:
"Yaaah! What did you bring me, you idiot? I asked for a latte with cream!" All the guys turned their attention to the girls.
"But this is it," Subin replied quietly, blushing at InSuk's nasty words.
"That's not cream; it's syrup. I told you in plain language, didn't I?" She glared at the poor girl.
"I'm sorry. I'll bring you another coffee right away." Subin bowed in apology and was about to take the cup from InSuk, but she suddenly felt someone's warm hand touch hers and prevent her from doing so. She looked up and saw Taehyung's eyes, full of sympathy.
"Here, InSuk. Take my coffee." The boy could no longer stand watching the rich, arrogant girl bully Subin.
"Oh, Taehyung! You're so sweet," she squealed as she took the coffee from him. "Thank you," she said, batting her eyelashes. But Tae Tae ignored her and went back to watching a video on his phone. Then he looked at Subin again.
She stood red as a tomato in the middle of the hall. Her eyes slowly filled with tears because not everyone can endure such treatment. She was no longer able to endure the arrogant girl's bullying. It was getting worse every day. But InSuk was also an intern, and because of her connections and money, she got away with too much.
Sighing heavily, Subin went out into the hallway. InSuk now turned all her attention to the cute TaeHyung. However, when she saw the younger Jima and Kookie dancing, she immediately switched her attention to them.

It's eleven o'clock in the evening. There is no one in the agency building except the support staff. They are finishing cleaning up. Subin is sitting in the hallway under the manager's office wall. The manager has long been sitting at home in front of the TV.
It is dark. Only the hum of the vacuum cleaner and air conditioner can be heard. Occasionally, the voices of the trainees who remain after work can be heard. Her eyes are red from crying. After the incident with InSuk, she cried in the bathroom for a long time, like an offended schoolgirl. Her head is filled with bad thoughts, not a single one of which would cheer her up in a moment like this.
"Subin~a!!! Why are you still here?" A familiar, rough voice suddenly rang out. Subin raised her eyes indifferently. Then was standing above her, staring at her with his big eyes. Without waiting for an answer, he squatted down.
"Taehyung!" she said, smiling and blinking her eyelashes wearily.
"Are you okay?" He asked, adjusting his hair to get a better look at her face.
"Yes..." the girl replied, tears welling up in her eyes.
"Oh, what's wrong?"
"I'm tired..." Subin said through her tears. "I'm tired of being a girl on errands. I don't want to spend my whole life running errands and doing what others tell me to do. I want to do what I love." Now, her tears were flowing freely.
"What do you love to do?" TaeHyung asked suddenly.
"What?" Subin had already forgotten what she had been dreaming about. TaeHyung just smiled when he saw his neighbor's confused look.
"Let's go..." He held out his hand to her. This surprised her because before, he had been afraid to even talk to her.
"Where?" Subin asked, sobbing, but still reaching out her hand. He just smiled.

It's late at night, and the two of them are walking through Seoul's nighttime streets. There is no one around, only a few cars speeding down the highway. The air is filled with the scent of summer—fresh and slightly floral. The sky is studded with stars, and only the light from the streetlamps prevents them from fully appreciating the beauty of the universe.
"Thank you, TaeHyung," said Subin, biting off the top of the ice cream the boy had just bought.
"For what?" he asked in surprise, licking his ice cream.
"For helping me forget... about today's incident. I'm really grateful to you."
"Oh, come on... anyone could have bought you ice cream..." he said, shyly hiding his gaze under his bangs.
"Yes... but not you! You've always been quiet. Even then... at your house."
"Ah, then? Yes..." TaeHyung bit his lip.
"It's at moments like today that you really get to know a person," she said, looking up at the stars.
"Subin..." He suddenly decided to say what he had always kept silent about. "If you need help... call me... I'm always happy to help you. And if that InSuk bothers you again, come to me! I'll deal with her in an instant."
"Ahahaha," the girl laughed when he showed her some karate moves. "Okay."
Lost in conversation, they didn't notice when they arrived at the dormitory. They ate ice cream, laughed, and talked. It was an unforgettable evening. Subin forgot about all the troubles that had happened, and TaeHyung got a little closer to the girl whose gaze made his heart flutter.
"Good night, Subin," the boy said, standing in front of the girl's door. He waited until she opened the door to her apartment and went inside. She smiled sweetly in response and closed the door. TaeHyung stood in the hallway for another five minutes, unable to believe his luck, and then went home—to the door opposite.
Once there, at home, he was met with a malicious look from Jimin...
