Starting from Alchemy, Grinding Proficiency

This is probably the most frustrated I have ever felt reading a novel, At times this novel is genuinely a 5/5 but the CONSTANT repeating the EXACT SAME SITUATION but just "slightly" changing the name or situation to make it new. Im at chapter 200 ish and he has been ambushed like 20 times and seems to learn some new trick for next time but still walks right into the next one. Also the way he gets tracked "differently" is quite annoying, every time he finds a way to beat the old way of tracking a new one shows up and the EXACT SAME situation happens again. He was ambushed like three times in a row after leaving the city and instead of going to this shop his sect set up and being like "Hey can you contact the sect and let them send someone to help me" He just goes it cant POSSIBABLY happen again. The story has times of being truly phenomenal but the constant repeating of the fights gets more and more grating, Also more of a personal thing but I hate stories that force the MC into a situation that is completely against his personality because he feels he has to give something back to the sect. The problem with that is the he could do that later after he has raised his cultivation but no, after getting attacked and almost dying he will return to the sect for a month or two to heal up and get sent to some random bs place because a elder of the sect thinks its good for his growth. If you can look past those things or they dont bother you I would really recommend this story and for now I am still continuing, but if this story just keeps going down the same road I dont know how long I will last.

Meh, cheat has no significance to the story. Even Alchemy is no longer used after he reaches Foundation Establishment. ...........................
