I stared at the door Ronan had just slammed shut, my face burning with embarrassment. Great. I'd just flashed the shyest of my bonds. Perfect way to start the day.
"Stop laughing," I hissed at Silas, who was still chuckling beside me.
"Sorry," he said, not looking sorry at all. "But the look on his face was priceless."
Before I could snap back at him, he stood and walked across the common room to inspect our new accommodations more closely. I followed reluctantly, still adjusting my clothes.
"Not bad," Silas said appreciatively, running his hand along the sleek furnishings. "Definitely an upgrade from the regular dorms."
I had to admit he was right. The place was gorgeous—all modern finishes with plush rugs and expensive-looking art on the walls. I wandered down the short hallway Ronan had indicated, finding a door with my name etched into a small gold plate.
"I'm going to check out my room," I called to Silas.
