Inside an unspecified room somewhere in the city of Latnos. Three faction leaders were having a private meeting.
The city of Latnos was originally used as a neutral meeting place for the officials and representatives of the three countries of Hi, Kai and Lin, to discuss international relations, trade and agreements.
"So, its decided! Two thirds of our slaves will go to the Hi Empire while the rest will go to the Lin Empire! Meanwhile, the majority of the foodstuff from Hi will go to my kingdom while the majority of the silk and cloth from Lin will go to Hi in accordance with what we have agreed upon! Any objections?" the middle-aged Mr. Lang from the kingdom of Kai asked the other representatives.
"I have no objections!" The gray-haired Mr. He, the representative from the Hi Empire said.
"Neither do I!" The long-haired Mr. Jin, from the Lin Empire, agreed.
"Now, there is another matter of business we need to discuss! The Dark Empire!"
Originally, the dominion over Latnos had been split between the three countries after they realized they had an abundance of resources the others were lacking and entered into a trade alliance that has been in effect for over a century now. The reason why the Land was divided between the countries was to make it easier for officials and nobles to enter alongside the goods they would be trading. This eventually led to merchants from all over gathering here in hopes of establishing relations with the upper class, which resulted in a drastic economic upturn for Latnos, which over time turned the city of Latnos into one of the biggest international trading hubs on the continent, gaining fame even in faraway lands. Even when split evenly between the three countries, the profits they gained from this city were enormous.
However, less than a decade ago, a new force managed to worm its way into the city's management. It was the Dark Empire.
"I heard they made a fool out of your son in public recently!" Jin said to He.
"Don't even mention it! I already have a headache from listening to his complaints!" He responded while grabbing his temples.
"Well, you only have yourself to blame! The Yellow and Purple Palace would have never taken root if not for your side!"
"We could not have possibly predicted they would be able to grow that quickly!"
Back when the Dark Empire had first formed a peace treaty with the Hi Empire, they had used their friendly relationship to make a transaction. They had offered the Hi Empire an absurd amount of money in exchange for the rights to the slums at the edge of Latnos. They had of course thought they were getting the better end of the deal, only regretting their decision a year later, after the Dark Empire had renovated the slums before expanding it. They have constructed two new sections in the city, and they now own one third of it. They make several times the money they paid to the Hi Empire every year and have long since recovered the fortune they spent on construction.
"Speaking of the Dark Empire! My country has requested I bring up a formal proposal on how to handle this matter!" Jin spoke.
"Oh? What a coincidence! So has mine!" Lang said.
"It wouldn't happen to be to launch a surprise attack on the Yellow Palace, would it?" He asked.
"…!"
"…!"
They all stared awkwardly at each other as they realized something fishy was going on. Their homeland had made numerous proposals for how to handle the Dark Empire's presence in the city before, but they were all shut down due to a number of factors, one of which was that they could never agree on a single plan. Whenever they came up with a plan that would require the aid of another faction, they would spend weeks deliberating while sending messages for approval back to their homeland, before eventually scrapping the idea. However, for some reason all their countries monarchs had made the same proposal at the same time.
"This is rather peculiar!"
"Something must be going on behind the scenes!"
"I agree!"
"Have any of you received a word of our countries forming an alliance against the Dark Empire!
"No!"
"Me neither!"
"Even if they were keeping it a secret, I find it strange that all of us were left in the dark!"
"Agreed! Surely at least one of us would be informed of this in secret! What did your message entail exactly! Maybe it's just something we missed!"
*Energetic Clapping*
"Hm? WHO'S THERE! THIS IS A PRIVATE MEETING!" Lang yelled at the sound of clapping coming from the darkest part of the dimly lit room.
"HELLO! MY NAME IS YIN! NICE TO MEET YOU ALL! I'M HERE TO TELL YOU THE DETAILS OF THE ATTACK WE WILL BE LAUNCHING ON THE YELLOW PALACE SOON!" Yin said as she manifested out of the darkness, riding a certain woman like a horse while holding her hair like they were reins.
"WHAT?!" Lang uttered in confusion.
"WHO LET YOU IN HERE?! GUARDS!!" Jin called out to the men stationed outside to no response.
"WAIT! IS THAT WHO I THINK IT IS?!" He spoke, while pointing at the woman Yin was riding on.
"YEP! THIS IS MY NEW PET, OLD LADY FUFU! SAY HIGH TO THE NICE MEN!" Yin said gesturing for the empress of the redlight district to greet the men.
"Woof! Woof!"
"WHO'S A GOOD GIRL! YES, YOU ARE! YOU ARE! HAVE A TREAT!" Yin said while petting the domesticated dominatrix before handing her a bottle of red liquid which the woman immediately chugged while showing a euphoric expression on her face.
"What is this? Who are you?" Lang asked in confusion.
"I TOLD YOU! MY NAME IS YIN! AND THIS IS MY PET FUFU! WE ARE HERE BECAUSE I WAS TOLD YOU WOULD BE HELPING US TAKE DOWN THE DARK EMPIRE! SO, THE PLAN IS PRETTY SIMPLE WE-!"
"Hang on a second! If your master is truly the one behind this conspiracy, then why are you together with her?"
"HM? OH, YOU MEAN FUFU! YOU DON'T HAVE TO WORRY ABOUT HER! I TAMED HER MYSELF, AND NOW SHE IS A GOOD GIRL WHO WILL DO WHATEVER I SAY! SIT! PAW! ROLLE OVER! DO A BACKFLIP! SEE!" Yin said, while mistress Fu followed every command she was given.
"NOW ON TOO BUSINESS!" Yin said as she threw envelopes marked with each of their countries' royal emblem.
