'Who says being covered in mud disqualifies you from being a hero…'
'Battle? Then battle! Even with the humblest of dreams…'
'Who says only those standing in the light are heroes…'
The entire Blood God Army base fell silent. The mechas stopped moving, everyone froze. Not just here — all the other divisions too — everyone was broadcasting this music.
'Who says only those standing in the light are heroes?'
These words stirred the blood of the seasoned veterans.
"Long live Blood God! Long live the Federation!!"
A voice suddenly rang out from somewhere.
Then came more shouts, louder and louder, rising to a roaring chorus. Every division, every on-site Blood God, every regiment commander and division commander stood at attention, saluting.
This was the glory of the Blood God Army.
This was the honor that no one had the right to deny or criticize.
"Long live Blood God!" Zhang Huanyun couldn't help but shout.
Long Tianwu quickly followed, and the two exchanged smiles.
"Brothers of the Divine Division, on behalf of the army, I bring you news… Blood God will emerge!" Long Tianwu addressed the Divine Division's commander, saluting and shaking his hand.
Below, over eight thousand soldiers froze in astonishment.
'Did we hear that right?'
'Does this mean… the Blood God Army will now officially stand under the Federation's banner?'
'Does it mean everything we've done in service will now be publicly acknowledged?'
Many soldiers raised small silver-white tokens into the air.
These tokens were marked with an embossed figure of a large, majestic bird — not quite an eagle, but similar in strength and form.
This was the Snow God Eagle, a soul beast believed to be the guardian of the snowy mountains, though extremely rare.
Its emblem was the symbol of the Blood God Army.
Those who qualified to serve here were all true elites. Only a few organizations were allowed to recommend soldiers: Shrek Academy, Tang Sect, the War God Hall, the Spirit Pagoda, and a few ancient, long-standing soul master clans.
There were no weaklings here.
The service terms were far longer than the average army — at least five years — but most stayed for ten or more. Many didn't even survive three. Even those who finished their service were under strict surveillance for life, because leaking even a scrap of Blood God Army secrets came with unimaginable punishment.
"I'm sorry, comrades, but I must tell you the truth." Divine Division Commander Hui Yiyi spoke gravely.
"Even though Long Tianwu has brought us this news, and we can appear in public, the things we've done… still cannot be disclosed, at least not yet."
But the excited cheers didn't stop.
Even the chance to appear openly was enough for this long-hidden army.
'They really are a lovable bunch,' Hui Yiyi thought as he glanced at Long Tianwu.
It was well known that leaking Blood God Army secrets brought Federation punishment, but even so, just speaking the name "Blood God Army" in public had gotten some people arrested.
Those who were caught often came from powerful clans that had sacrificed much for the Federation.
Now, with the army officially acknowledged, it meant that many past arrests might have been wrongful.
That was going to be complicated.
"Due to the Blood Division's special nature, we will activate the Third Regiment of the Divine Division to conduct the military parade!" Hui Yiyi's voice boomed with unwavering determination.
"Prepare! Don't bother with perfect formation — unleash the wild spirit of Blood God! Let the world know that beyond the Federation's five great legions, there is also a legion of slaughtering gods!!"
…
"Soul tool cameras aligned and ready! We can start recording anytime!"
The Divine Division's Third Regiment's logistics team stepped forward.
If the recording succeeded, this video would go live on the Federation's official website and be shown to the world.
"Drums and banners!"
Hui Yiyi released his terrifying aura.
Nine soul rings rose beneath his feet — the top configuration! His eighth and ninth rings even gleamed blood red.
Hundreds of soul tool camera drones lifted into the sky.
This military parade would be the Blood God Army's first — and the Divine Division's first.
Every soldier stood solemnly, knowing this was the Blood God Parade.
They had to do it right.
Only that way could they honor their Blood Division brothers still fighting and bleeding on the front lines.
With a roar, Hui Yiyi unleashed his power.
Countless mechas gathered into formation, heavy footsteps shaking the ground, stirring up sand and dust that clung to their metal surfaces but couldn't halt their advance.
Leading the front were six black-grade mechas, all wielding the latest advanced weapons.
More mechas followed behind in endless ranks, casting towering shadows.
Under the combined light of the dust and the precision cameras, they looked overwhelmingly majestic — kings of land-based combat.
The camera drones rose higher.
In the sky, several soul tool fighter jets zoomed past — all fifth-generation models, some nearly grade-nine in quality.
They flew in a giant V formation, leaving behind shimmering ripples before disappearing into the horizon.
Far away, massive trains rumbled by, carrying advanced soul-guided artillery shells.
There were even heavy ion beam and rocket weapons, with devastating power and enormous energy costs.
At the front were two terrifying eleventh-grade soul-guided shells.
The destructive aura they gave off caused faint distortions in the air.
The camera drones climbed higher still.
A surge of terrifying power rippled outward — countless soul rings lit up.
Six hundred people! A six-hundred-strong Soul King–reinforced regiment.
Their commander was at Soul Douluo level, a two-word battle armor master.
And there were many such elite regiments here.
At the climax, three figures appeared.
Their soul power was immense — nine soul rings glowing — each one a member of the Nine Blood Gods.
No one could hide their amazement.
If this army wished, it could march straight into battle — and this wasn't even their most elite force.
No ordinary nation's military could compare to this.
This was Blood God.
Six thousand years of accumulated strength.
…
A few days later…
"It'd be great if I could stand up there someday," a Blood Division soldier sighed wistfully, eyes fixed on the Divine Division's parade.
"Don't worry," his companion said softly. "That day will definitely come…"
