The marked man and Brian turned to the direction where the voice was heard and saw Rei with a bleeding head standing holding one of the men on his head she has beating up . She was giving a very dangerous vibe with her face expression and her eyes turned very dark. This looks sent chill to Brian that he was afraid of Rei than the men who is chasing them. The masked man who was beating Brian angrily tossed Brian away and made way to meet Rei. He swing his bat at Rei but Rei ducks and hit him on his stomach, hold him on his hair and started hitting him on the face. The man hold Rei hand and hit her back tossing her away,then Rei got on her stance and run to the man, the man tried hitting Rei again but Rei hit him on his legs making him lose balance and did a backflip with him making the man hit his face badly to the ground.

Brian was in surprise as he was watching a live action fighting going on in front of him,he could not run away because he felt safe seeing how Rei was protecting him. Soon later,Rei manage to make the man unconscious after gripping him hard with her legs. She let go of the man and breathing heavily she walked to Brian and started checking his body, the dangerous vibe she is giving suddenly disappeared after seeing bruise on his lip, saying :"are you okay? Are you hurt anywhere?" . Brian hold Rei hand, started holding Rei bleeding head and then said worried :" look who is asking,it seems I am supposed to ask you that question" .Rei who was slowly breathing hard, scoffed, hit Brian hand off from her head, feeling relief she sat down, adjusting her clothes and checking the bleeding in her head and said:" seem you are better than I thought. "Wow you are so strong old woman, for a minute there in the van ,I thought you are a goner", both of them look at each other and bursted laughing then Rei said pointed at the already beating men :" well after seeing you getting beating up ,I resurrected and this,this is a small, compared to what I have dealt with".

As she was talking, sounds of siren was heard, a ambulance and some police car pulled up to the scene, another car pulled down and Kai jumped down from it, running to where Brian and Rei was crying. She ran to hug Rei and said crying:" look at your head, you are bleeding, are you okay?" . Rei nodded smiley seeing Kai ."Hey hello, who are you supposed to be worrying about here?" Brian said as he was surprised that Kai was worried about Rei than him. Kai looks at Brian and said :" are you okay?" . This makes Brian scoffed and walked away.

Soon later, the police took the two men who was already conscious into their car and then one of the detective walks to where Rei was receiving treatment on her head in the ambulance van and Brian was checking out his bruises. He told Rei she and Brian will be needed in the station for witness and statement of what happened and Rei nodded in agreement. Hours later, Kai, Brian and Rei walked out of the police station building. Rei head had a little bandage and Brian had a mini bandage 🩹 on some of his hand. Some reporters run to them as they come out "Who is trying to kill?" "Do it have anything to do with your upcoming competition?,Will you still continue the competition after this incident?" They kept asking questions which pisses Brian,Rei proceeds in blocking the reporters from Brian and Brian was already walked to meet Mr Dari (Brian coach) who was waiting for them near his car. He entered the car,also with Rei and Kai and then leave the building.

Mr Dari asked Brian if he was okay,he did not reply. There was silence in the car for a while before Rei said :" I think we need to change where Brian is staying for the while since we don't know if they will attack again since his competition is on the way ","and where he practice too" Kai said. "Yeah, Brian will need a quiet place to practice to keep his mind relaxed for the competition but where?" Mr Dari said. Brian said :"I know a place but it pisses me off going there since I don't have a choice". "Where?" Kai and Mr Dari asked the same time. "A friend place", Brian said,Mr Dari asked :"do you trust him?" . "He is stupid,so yeah I do".

Soon onwards,they drove to a remote area with a big building in sight. Brian walked to the doorbell and ring it,a voice reply saying :"Who is at my house at this hour?" . "It is me Knuckle head", Brian replied."Hey Brian man, what up with you?,am coming" ,the voice happily replied back. There was a vibration on the gate of the building and it opened allowing them to drive into the building. They entered into the massive penthouse and Kai and Rei was amazed by it beauty. A young man in his 20's with a blonde hair that looks familiar to Rei,runs and hug Brian saying :"I thought you have ghosted me after that incident". "Let go of me Yuji" Brian said as he pushed him away from his grip. "Oh hello, I am Brian friend Yuji,Nice to meet you guys " Yuji was the name of young man who have been friends with Brian since when Brian was in America. He greeted Kai ,Rei and Mr Dari and showed them where to sit. Rei said to Yuji :"I think I have seen you somewhere before" . Yuji smiled and said :" well you have a sharp eye,i thought you would not notice me. You remember when you slapped Brian at a club,I was there holding Brian trying to separate the fight, even when you were wearing a mask I remember your eyes".

Kai and Mr Dari look at Rei with a surprise look and shouted :" You slapped Brian?" . "It was reflex and and Brian was making a scene,I didn't have any other choice", Rei shouted back. "After that day,I totally remember your eyes, you did something that even I did not even thought of doing. I am still surprised,he still keeps you as a bodyguard till now ", Yuji replied. Rei said :" well,he doesn't have any choice ". "Well then,he will be safe here for now,I have to get back to my family, I will meet Brian tomorrow ",Mr Dari said as he made his way to leave. "I will sort out with the reporters and the company" ,Kai said as she also stand up to take her leave. "Don't forget to bring his belongings " Rei tell Kai as she leaves,Kai nodded and leaves with Mr Dari.

After they left,Rei and Yuji looks at each other and smiled. Brian was already in one of the rooms while Yuji showed Rei a room where she can rest for the day.
