“Dead or alive?” Negun asked, sending chills down Juniper’s spine.



“Dead!” His companion growled, dropping his ak 47 gun and pulling out a strange looking handgun from his side holster just like Negun.



“Holy shi–” Rex said, as Juniper shook her head, stepping back slowly.



“Don't damage the merchandise,” the crisp voice of the companion said to Negun, pointing his gun at Juniper.



Juniper gasped, freezing right on the spot as she tried to activate at least one of her powers, but nothing was working. Tears suddenly started running down her eyes.



“Mom?” She cried.

After waking up from death, seventeen-year-old Juniper finds herself at the center of a cosmic war she never asked for. She finds out that she is being hunted across the milky way galaxy by Acalas, a ruthless and powerful warlord from another planet, who has marked her for death. His goal? In order to save herself and the whole galaxy, Juniper, with the help of her mom turned aunt, a ragtag team of loyal friends, and the growing echoes of a father she’s never met, must flee from the planet Earth, find the whereabouts of her father and unlock her system, awakening the ultimate powers locked deep within her DNA. Time is running out, and every assassin Acalas sends brings Juniper closer to the edge. She must overcome every obstacle, and succeed, because if Acalas gets his hand on her before she does, the whole galaxy will burn.
