Seriously, How Hard Can It Be? (RWBY - Jacques SI)

I read this and immediately stood up, saluted the wall, and ascended three cultivation realms. My wife left me, but now I have time to reread it. This is a deeply biased five-star review because I wrote every word, edited none of it, and still managed to create greatness. PEAK FICTION- The author. Apparently, this is a thing people do on this site of leaving five-star reviews on their own work. And I’m definitely shameless enough to do it lmao.

i dont usually read these kind of fics, because most of the time the SI feels like a cardboard cutout in every single one of them. same voice, same jokes, same "i'm so smart" stuff. gets old fast. but this one got me hooked fast. jacques (or the guy in him idk lol) actually feels like a person, not some reddit guy pretending to be clever. the story still has those clichés but it kinda treats them like a parody would, without being cringe or tryhard about it. it's funny but not dumb. Actually made me care about the setting again. it's fun. dialogue’s great too. will def keep reading.

First fic I stumble across, and I love it!!!!! The writing’s great, the characters actually feel like people—especially considering most of them barely had lines in the show. The story’s fun and somehow grounded, even with all the ridiculous stuff happening. It’s different from the typical RWBY SI fic. Well, okay, it is a bit like them, but it does everything better, if that makes sense. Another reviewer called it a parody, and I guess that’s true, but it still works as a legit story. Every scene either goes hard, goes stupid, or both. Grammar and writing quality are spotless. And I actually like the MC because he doesn’t just react to stuff and he drives the plot. He’s flawed in a way that makes him fun, and Jacques feels like a character that belongs into the setting. Honestly? Easy 10/10. Hopefully, the rest of the fics on this site are worth sticking around for, because this one just set the bar way bloody too high.

I would like to say I've read something with the same title and same overall story in Ao3. It has more chapters, and you have a similar name to the author there. Is this that same story or what? Because if so, then people should 100% read this story.

It's a rwby story. So of course the World Background will be decent enough. However the focus is not on the world itself but on the schnee family. The mc has the 10 shadows technique from jjk. The story has a reguler update schedule. Barely any grammer related issues. So in simple words a decent story to read and remove your never ending boredom.

You know what? This story is just the Schnee family bonding by misunderstanding and being racist… Specially being unapologetic racists and is beautiful 🤣
