Another Coincidence and the Beginning of Classes

When Mrs. Mery opened the door, she had a smile on her face, along with Mr. George. But when Mr. George looked at Mr. Jonas, his eyes widened.

"Jonas Coleman?" exclaimed Mr. George.

Jonas, who was also smiling, had the same reaction as Mr. George.

"George Cooper," said Jonas' father.

Alex, who was silently observing everything, noticed that Mr. George's eyes changed upon seeing his father, and his heart skipped a beat. When he turned his head, he realized that his father had the same expression as Mr. George.

"Do they know each other? What kind of coincidence is this?" thought Alex.

Mery and Alex's mother, Melinda, noticed that the two men recognized each other and asked in unison:

"You know each other?"

Jonas' father was the first to react and replied:

"We were friends in kindergarten."

George followed:

"Yes, your house was next to mine until you moved away."

George stepped forward and extended his hand. They shook hands with a smile.

"How about we chat over some beer?" invited Mr. George.

Jonas replied happily:

"Of course! It's great to see you again."

He raised his hand to show the pack of beer he had brought.

"Well, let's go inside so we can talk better," suggested Mery.

Melinda did not object. After handing over the pie she had brought, everyone entered the house.

Inside, Alex met Georgie Jr. He was exactly like in the TV series. He also noticed many coincidences between his family and the Cooper family.

His father had been Mr. George's childhood best friend, and his mother was Mrs. Mery's best friend in high school. Now, he had a close relationship with this family.

Looking at Mr. George, he remembered how he had cried when he died in the series. Thinking about it, he recalled that Sheldon's father had died when he was 14 years old. Now, he and Sheldon were the same age, 9 years old... It seemed like there were only five years left until Mr. George's death.

Suddenly, he felt a strong urge to help, but, in this body, he couldn't do anything.

Dinner at the Cooper house was peaceful, and they returned home late that night.

"…"

Today was finally the first day of school.

The morning after dinner at the Cooper house, when Alex woke up, he realized that his memory had improved significantly. Memories he had forgotten were now clear, and advanced mathematical calculations, which had been somewhat difficult before, had become much easier.

Now, he had an eidetic memory and could read incredibly fast. Alex called this ability "quantum reading." He found it fascinating and was eager to read all the books he could find at home before school started.

After learning all the content from the books he had at home, his thirst for knowledge grew even greater. Now that he was going to school, he wanted to read all the books there. He could ask his mother to buy more books, but he felt a little embarrassed and decided not to bother her.

Mother and son were already in the car, on their way to school. Both were silent.

"Son, I know you're very intelligent!" said Melinda.

Alex, sitting in the back seat, opened his eyes and looked at his mother. Noticing this, Melinda continued:

"Ever since we moved, you've spent all your time in your room studying."

"I must admit, I was surprised. Your father and I were worried that you wouldn't do well in school."

While speaking, she looked in the rearview mirror to see Alex's reaction. Seeing that he simply watched her without saying anything, she went on:

"I just want you to know that your father and I will support you in everything."

Melinda didn't know what had caused her son's personality to change, but she saw his effort in learning. And the things he wrote—she herself couldn't even understand.

But, as a mother, she knew that her son had become incredibly intelligent.

author's notes:

I thought about making the chapters shorter and realized that writing has become easier for me, which is strange.

I don't know if my character's storyline will be involved with Young Sheldon's stories.

The MC has finally started their student days, which is the key point of my story.

If you have any ideas for my novel, leave a comment so I know you're following along.
