— Alex's Point of View —
After the conversation with my mother in the car, I finally arrived at Medford High School.
"Son, will you be okay?" my mother asked me while looking at me with worried eyes.
I felt warmth in my heart upon noticing this. In both of my lives, I had a good mother.
Looking at her with a smile, I spoke to ease her concern:
"It's all right, Mom! I'll be fine!"
After hugging her, I entered my classroom. As I looked at the students, I didn't recognize any of them.
I thought I was in the same class as Missy. After all, many coincidences have been happening around me and the Cooper family.
After finding a spot in the corner at the back of the room, I opened a science book that my mother had given me.
I thought she would notice my changes and discover that I was no longer her real son, Alex.
Maybe I had read too many paranoia-filled novels and ended up worrying that others would find my changes strange.
But it seems I overthought things. My mother accepted everything just fine and said she would support me in everything.
I felt happy. I wonder if I am selfish for liking this care. I took the place of someone else, even knowing that maybe the real Alex wasn't experiencing the changes I am.
When I woke up, I felt that my brain capacity had become stronger, and I noticed that my five senses had also become sharper.
Even with these changes, I felt as if it were something natural, like breathing.
Thanks to these changes, I also made a discovery: my body is changing too, which surprised me.
Why hadn't I noticed before? When I helped my parents move, I didn't feel very tired.
Even after studying for long hours, I also didn't feel exhausted.
I wonder what kind of cheat I have. Maybe I have Kryptonian lineage...
While I was thinking about these things, with my enhanced senses, I noticed that the teacher had entered the classroom.
She introduced herself as Deyse Miller.
I have to say, she is very beautiful, with blonde hair, green eyes, and very fair skin.
She is totally my type… Well, she was. Now I'm just a child.
And that was how my first day of school began.

"..."
The class passed quickly, and soon it was lunchtime.
Alex, grabbing his lunchbox, walked in a certain direction. When he enrolled, he saw a map of the location and knew where the library was.
He had been waiting for this moment the whole class. Without delay, he entered the library and saw a woman.
That figure was familiar. If it were Alex from a few days ago, he wouldn't know her name. But with his improved memory, he clearly remembered many details.
Her name was Mrs. Sheryl Hutchins.
They looked at each other, and Alex nodded as a greeting. The other person returned the gesture.
Finding a quiet place to sit, Alex went to the bookshelf, looking for some books to read while eating.
Now that he was in a sea of books, he felt eager to devour all that knowledge.
Grabbing a few books, he returned to his seat, unwrapped his lunch, looked at the books he had chosen, and selected one with the title: A Brief History of Time, by Stephen Hawking.
On the other side, Mrs. Sheryl watched everything Alex was doing until he chose some books and returned to his seat.
After looking at the title of the book—A Brief History of Time, by Stephen Hawking—she remembered that the principal had said that this year a new super-genius student would be attending the school.
Looking at little Alex, she murmured:
"Could it be him?"
Then, a small figure approached the counter and spoke:
"Hello."

Author's Notes:
Today, I will only post one chapter.
Sunday, in Brazil, is a day of rest for us Brazilians.
And another thing: today I can't concentrate because the fan in my laptop is making a lot of noise, which gives me a headache.
I read the comments you left—thank you! Knowing that there are people who enjoy my work motivates me.
I would like to ask a question: I thought about giving our MC the ability to change the structure of matter at a molecular level, similar to Doctor Manhattan.
He won't create anything out of nothing, but he will be able to modify existing matter into other things, like turning stone into gold.
