On the eve of the wedding, the security team reported that Lucian's whereabouts had become unpredictable. He was frequently visiting bars, his mood was extremely unstable, and he had even drunkenly threatened to "make Elara pay the price."

"Maybe we should change the wedding plans," Liam suggested worriedly, "something more private, safer."

"No, I won't let Lucian's threats change our plans. This is our day, and I refuse to let fear dictate it."

"Then at least let me increase the security," Liam insisted. "I can't risk putting you in danger."

I agreed to his proposal, my heart filled with gratitude for his protection and care.

On the wedding day, our private estate at Long Island was heavily guarded. Despite this, the atmosphere inside the estate remained warm and romantic; flowers, ribbons, and champagne created a dreamlike scene.
