When that was all done, Ming conjured a black flame from his shadow's bottom. Which he threw into the sprawling corpses.'s maw as he watched more of them burn. There he had lain, without thought or tears, but none the less the heart of his love had been silent. In his eyes remained only a grinding sorrow.
He approached Wen, who was dead and old and shriveled now. He carefully hoisted him on his back, and started to take him back home. He took one last look at his parents, at the Jwan family … at all that he had lost.
"I ain't ever forget it man... what they did can't never be erased. and when my brother arises…the retribution to the Jwan Clan will start."
Then he raised his eyes to heaven, and murmured:
"I have to move from here at once… but…"
Tears rolled down his cheeks as he thought of Wang and Mina.
"Even if I do become a evil person… there is something I can cry about." There is still pai
I crying is still what things can do to me. There is still pain."
He brushed the tears from his eyes and his features hardened and became expressionless again. "And he lifted up his head toward heaven, and opened his mouth, and spake."
"Wait for me, stars of the world …"
Suddenly, his tone shifted. He gave an hollow laugh, and added, but as if speaking to some one else:
"What now, Ming? Is the story over? I'm tired... Why? Meanwhile, do you know how trauma-inducing it is to have hundreds of thousands of views and not one comment of support?"
He shouted into the air:
"Shut up! Get back to work! Ahahaha, damn you!"
Then, as if he flipped a switch, he settled and whispered:
"Alright… where were we? Ah yes…"
With an evil eye, he lifted Wen and started off for the hills.
---
He ascended, into a highland region, where for nine days he remained in silence and meditation. At last, he came to an old cave.
He gestured to the entrance.
"Eight years ago… this was the hideout of the Demonic Sect. Now it's just ruins. Perfect."
Sighing at the unconscious Wen, Ming murmured softly, "Ping-er, I hope this will really benefit you."
"Strange... Nine days, and he doesn't wake up. I hope my hunch is wrong…"
He examined him and sighed:
"So I was correct… His building shattered, just from the trauma. He never once activated the Gate of Knowledge. He thought… I wouldn't have been able to stop his power."ح
It even begins with a seed. The gate is the soil. Without that, the seed can't even grow."
He sat quietly, meditating. Then there came a voice in his head:
"You are Ming from the old days, Ming as you were.
He chuckled.
"Is that you… my former self? Seems like you're in quite a predicament there."
The voice replied:
"What do you mean to do now, you demon?"
Ming smirked:
"The tavern, that's where I will go first.
The voice gasped:
"Still, even at the tender age of eight? Are you seriously trying to ruin the narrative?! "
He laughed.
"No … I just want to go and get food … and see what happens."
---
He went down into a tavern at the foot of the mountain. In the inner apartment were younger nobles reveling and boasting aloud.
Ming strode in with confidence and sat. A waitress approached.
"Do you have money?" she asked.
He replied calmly:
"What's the problem? The more money you have … the more you're concerned."
"Do you?"
"Yes."
She began preparing food. Now a second, arrogant young nobleman came and offered:
"Hello there, I'm Roben."
Happy offered his hand but was simply disregarded by Ming.
You're such a weirdo," Roben said with a smile.
Ming gave him a look of pure derision:
"Move over... I don't do dirt."
Roben's face changed.
"Do you know who I am? My Unlcle is the Minister of king friggin Jwan!
Ming burst out laughing:
"Hahahaha! Really? You're just more trash."
Roben drew his dagger.
"What are you going to do?"
Ming smiled coldly:
"Haven't you figured me out by now?"
"Who are you?"
"I am Ming… son of Wang."
Roben froze. Then he forced a smile:
"Yang will pay me great sums for bringing you in!
Ming replied:
"Have a drink first … your last.
He dumped an entire casket of wine on Roben and set fire to the wine with his black fire. The place just became a hellish blast-furnace.
Roben scoffed:
"That won't work on me!"
But the fire leapt out, and the room was suddenly filled with screams.
Ming is furious and takes his payback on them, killing them one by one by the first technique he learned:
"Dark Seal."
And he only used seven moves to shoot 29 men to death
Roben (the waitress) and Ming were still the only ones there.
Ming emptied a second barrel into Roben as the waitress shook in terror.
He drew the black flame nearer. They were screaming, pleading for mercy and the guy just laughed, hopping around in their pain.
He shouted:
"This is pleasure! I meant to make myself of you away… and now, you're burning!"
As they burned to cinders, he murmured:
"What a waste … the game's finished. I hope you liked my little hell."
As he prepared to leave, he saw a weird glowing hole in the wall.
A peculiar light shone from the interior.
He stared in awe:
"That's… i-information….. What's this…?"
