Rebirth of the Phoenix_

The Phoenix Clan was once unmatched in power, their blessings revered, and their connection to the mythical Phoenix feared across the world. But when the greed of four great empires united, the clan was destroyed, forcing its survivors to go into hiding. In a desperate act of sacrifice, the Phoenix itself gave up its life to protect its people, leaving its essence dormant in an unborn child, Luis. Raised in a quiet village, Luis knows nothing of his heritage or the incredible power hidden within him. As he trains to master his aura, mysterious signs begin to surface, hinting at the truth of his lineage. With enemies closing in, the pressure mounts for Luis to uncover the Phoenix's legacy and embrace the power he never asked for. Torn between protecting those he loves and fulfilling the destiny thrust upon him, Luis must decide: will he rise as the savior of his clan, or will he become another casualty of the empire's unrelenting greed?



There are 2 main power systems, blessings and aura.



Aura: can be progressed through training, every human is capable of growing their aura stronger.



Blessings: are powers given by creatures that rely on aura to be used and controlled. Blessings can only be obtained through mutual consent between creatures and humans. They can be passed through generations, but their power diminishes over generations.



What to expect



There will be slow-paced chapters to build up characters with a mix of fast-paced action. This is my first novel so I am still learning, the change and improvement in my wirtting style will be noticeable as you go through the chapters.
