Her Halo, Her Blade

In the middle of a training exercise Merci Endelove gets separated from her class and teammates while running away from a umbra serpent, she got trapped in a dark world, as she tries to survive being attacked by umbrabeasts.



She gets saved by the Angel of Darkness of this generation when she was on the verge of death, the Angel of Darkness her 'new life'.



Merci wakes up in a bed in the infirmary surrounded by her teammates, friends and classmates.



After being discharged from the infirmary she goes to her dorm to find the Angel of Darkness sitting on her bed, the Angel of Darkness tells "I saved your life but in exchange I had to bond us together."
