Chapter 30

After the battle ended—

Son Goku and Vegeta slowly flew toward Aishi, and Piccolo and Krillin, who had been watching from the mountain, quickly flew over as well.

Goku sighed. "That guy Piccolo…"

Krillin: "..."

Goku frowned.

"Vegeta, that's not a nice thing to say. We can't look down on others. Didn't you hear what Aishi said about the Gods of Destruction? Saiyans aren't invincible…"

Vegeta's expression darkened. "Kakarot! Don't forget, you're a Saiyan too!"

Then, his words paused—

His face became even uglier.

"I haven't even dealt with you yet! Kakarot, tell me honestly—where did Super Saiyan 3 come from?!"

"Why didn't you use it when you fought me?!"

Goku stiffened and scratched his head awkwardly.

"Well… maybe… it's something only Vegetto can do?"

"Bullshit!"

Vegeta cut him off coldly. "We share battle experience and abilities. I know everything!"

Goku: "..."

Aishi said calmly, "Alright, since there's nothing else, let's call it a day."

Hearing that—

The others stopped arguing and nodded in agreement.

Just then—

Goku looked toward Aishi and said with a smile, "Aishi, I want to ask you something!"

That immediately drew Vegeta's attention.

What trick is Kakarot up to now?

Aishi looked slightly puzzled. "Go ahead."

Goku grinned. "Can I train with you for a while?"

Vegeta's eyes widened. "Kakarot, what do you mean?!"

Goku laughed. "Aishi's really strong. I want to learn from him."

Vegeta clenched his brow, his face dark with anger.

He had just declared his challenge to Aishi. There's no way he could tag along now, right?

Learning Aishi's techniques and receiving his training—

But soon, Aishi spoke—and to Vegeta's delight, his frown relaxed, his mood greatly improving.

Aishi shook his head. "No. I only take one disciple."

Goku looked disappointed. "Ah…"

"Haha! Kakarot, stop looking for shortcuts! True martial arts must be discovered on your own! That's the true path!" Vegeta laughed smugly.

Aishi added calmly, "But I can find an even stronger teacher for you."

Hearing this—

Vegeta froze.

Goku's eyes lit up. "Who?"

Aishi answered lightly, "You'll find out soon enough."

Then, without another word, he prepared to leave.

But at that moment—

A voice suddenly came through.

"Goku… Goku! Something terrible has happened!!! It's urgent!!"

The voice was full of panic and urgency.

Goku looked confused. "Huh?"

"King Kai?"

It was indeed King Kai's voice.

Now, he was drenched in cold sweat.

"It's me, Goku!"

Goku asked, "What's wrong, King Kai? You sound frantic—what's the emergency?"

Vegeta turned his gaze toward them.

Goku hesitated for a moment. "Aishi, do you want to go?"

Aishi smiled. "I'll go—alone."
