Chapter 6

Under the dim, humming emergency lights, the server cabinet with the dark stain seeping from its base stood out like a monolith in the middle of the room.

What a bizarre sight. I actually felt a flicker of fear.

But after some thought, why should I be scared? I should be the one bearing the greatest grudge in this room.

Oh, well. I had always been timid. Since I had died in such a horrifying way, I found myself subconsciously scared of my own corpse.

Damian walked to the center of the room and stood before my metal tomb.

I floated around him and noticed his legs were shaking. For some reason, I suddenly wanted to scare him. I blew a cold draft against the back of his neck.

His legs immediately gave out, and he stumbled, falling against the cabinet.

I found myself regretting my actions a little.

He fell against my body, so my corpse was probably going to look even worse.

Damian immediately scrambled away and looked around nervously. Finally, he calmed himself.
