The Contract

As the meeting concluded, Julian handed Emilia a sleek, black folder containing a contract. "This outlines the terms of our agreement," he said, his eyes locked on hers. "I think you'll find it quite...fascinating."

It outlines the terms of our agreement. I think you'll find it's quite generous."

Emilia's heart skipped a beat as she opened the folder and began to read. The contract was detailed, outlining the terms of the agreement, including the commission rates, exhibition schedules, and promotional activities.

As she read, Emilia's excitement grew. This was a real opportunity, a chance to take her art to the next level. But as she turned the pages, she noticed a clause that gave her pause.

"What does this mean?" Emilia asked, pointing to the clause. "This says that I have to create art exclusively for you for the next two years. What about my other projects?"

Julian leaned forward, his eyes serious. "I'm afraid that's a non-negotiable term," he said. "I need to know that you'll be focused on creating art that aligns with my vision. But I assure you, Emilia, this will be worth it. You'll be working with some of the best people in the industry, and you'll have access to resources and opportunities that will take your career to new heights."

Emilia took the folder, feeling a sense of trepidation. She had expected something like this, but she wasn't sure what to make of it.

"I'd like to review it carefully," Emilia said, trying to sound professional.

Julian nodded, a smile on his face. "Of course. Take all the time you need. But I assure you, the terms are quite...generous."

As Emilia left the building, she couldn't help but feel a sense of unease. What was she getting herself into? She decided to take Rachel's advice and have a lawyer review the contract before signing anything.

When she got home, Emilia opened the folder and began to read through the contract. It was full of legal jargon and complex terms, but one thing stood out to her - Julian's name was nowhere to be found. Instead, the contract referred to a company called "Eclipse" that would be representing her art.

Emilia's mind was racing with questions. Who was Eclipse? And what did they have to do with Julian? She knew she needed to dig deeper before making any decisions.

With a sense of determination, Emilia picked up her phone and dialed Rachel's number. "I need your help," she said, her voice firm. "I need to know more about this company, Eclipse."
