Brentley Carter Is Your Fiance?

Inside Jacques Bistro Restaurant.

Eight security guards rushed straight towards Brentley. Erica, Ophelia Colby and others all had victorious smiles on their faces. Meanwhile, a dignified beauty frowned at Brentley, wanting to speak up for him but knowing her cousin's stubborn nature. After a moment of hesitation, she decided to stay silent.

She planned to call Manager Morgan after Brentley was taken away to try and make sure Jacques Bistro Restaurant didn't make things too difficult for him. Her kind heart knew Brentley hadn't stolen anything; it was all just her cousin's way of getting back at him.

"Ring, ring!"

At that moment, Brentley's phone suddenly rang. He took it out and saw that it was Mr. Griffin calling. "Hello?" Brentley answered the call.

Everyone present looked at Brentley in disbelief. How could he take a phone call at a time like this? Shouldn't he be explaining himself to Manager Morgan?

No one could understand what was going through Brentley's mind!

"Young Master Carter, have you arrived at the Restaurant?" Mr. Griffin asked cheerfully.

"I've arrived, but the manager of this restaurant is trying to kick me out. I've tried explaining, but he won't listen..." Brentley said with a tone of helplessness.

"Young Master Carter, I apologize. This might be my fault for not making things clear. Please hand the phone to the manager. I'll speak to him," Mr. Griffin said, sounding somewhat anxious.

"Alright," Brentley nodded slightly, then handed his phone directly to Manager Morgan, his face expressionless. "Someone wants to talk to you."

"Who is it?" Manager Morgan asked skeptically as he took the phone from Brentley. He then spoke softly into the phone, "Hello, who is this?"

"Morgan, what on earth are you doing?" Mr. Griffin shouted angrily.

"James... James..." Manager Morgan stammered, clearly frightened upon hearing Mr. Griffin's voice.

"Morgan, find a private place to talk right now!" Mr. Griffin commanded in a low voice.

"Okay, okay..." Morgan quickly agreed, then turned and walked away to a more secluded area.

Mr. Griffin knew that Brentley's identity couldn't be exposed, so he specifically instructed Morgan to leave.

The onlookers, seeing the manager walk away, exchanged puzzled glances, their eyes filled with confusion. But they didn't think much of it. After all, they believed that even if Brentley had indeed called for backup, what difference would it make?

Ophelia and Colby exchanged disdainful glances in Brentley's direction, as if waiting for the staff at the Restaurant to deal with him.

"Erica, maybe we should just let this go for today? You've already achieved your goal, and it's good to show some mercy," a poised and elegant woman hesitated before softly suggesting to Erica.

"No way! I have to teach him a lesson today. You have no idea how awful he is, cousin. He deliberately took advantage of me yesterday afternoon!" she pouted and shouted.

The elegant woman sighed helplessly at Erica's words, unsure of what to say.

Meanwhile, Colby shifted his attention to the two beauties. Both Erica and the elegant woman were absolute stunners, far surpassing Ophelia, who was standing beside him. Colby was only with Ophelia for fun; there was no real affection between them.

After a moment of hesitation, Colby walked straight towards Erica making his intentions clear. Ophelia's face flashed with a hint of coldness as she watched Colby flirt with another girl right in front of her. However, she didn't dare to say anything and stood there awkwardly.

Brentley couldn't help but chuckle at the scene. "What are you laughing at?" Ophelia snapped coldly when she saw Brentley's smile. Brentley shook his head lightly, not bothering to respond.

"Hey there, beautiful. What's your name?" Colby asked Erica with a grin.

"Does it matter what you call me? Just stay away from me!"

Erica snapped back at Colby with clear disdain in her voice.

Although Colby had helped her before, Erica thought that him trying to hit on her right in front of his girlfriend made him no better than a scoundrel. Naturally, she didn't hold back her harsh words.

Colby gave an awkward smile and turned to stand beside Ophelia.

At that moment, Morgan came running back, looking extremely anxious and drenched in sweat as if he had just stepped out of a sauna.

Everyone stared at him with puzzled expressions. They couldn't understand why the manager looked like this after just taking a phone call.

What they didn't know was that Jacques Bistro Restaurant was actually a part of Convergence Group, which meant that Brentley was also the chairman of Jacques Bistro Restaurant. Morgan couldn't have imagined that he had unintentionally offended his boss.

At this point, he didn't even know how to describe his feelings. "Mr. Carter, I am terribly sorry. I have clarified everything, and you are indeed a VIP at Jacques Restaurant. I apologize for my previous behavior!"

The Manager approached Brentley, speaking with utmost respect.

Everyone was stunned upon hearing his words, their faces showing utter shock.

Who could have imagined that Manager Morgan would seem like a completely different person after just one phone call?

Mr. Griffin had specifically instructed him not to reveal Brentley's identity, which was why he spoke to Brentley in this manner. Otherwise, he would have been on his knees, begging for forgiveness! It's utterly ridiculous that a mere manager would accuse the chairman of being a thief and try to kick him out of his restaurant! What a joke!

Erica, Colby, Ophelia along with the onlooker, were all stunned and confused by manager Morgan's words.

"Manager Morgan, what are you talking about?" Erica stepped forward, frowning.

"Can I leave now?" Brentley asked Manager Morgan with a blank expression. "Yes, yes, you can go," he replied, ignoring Erica and nodding at Brentley. He took his phone from the manager and slowly walked away under the astonished gazes of everyone present..

Ophelia and Colby watched Brentley's retreating figure, their faces full of confusion. "Manager Morgan, what on earth is going on? Why did you suddenly let him go?" Erica demanded, clearly dissatisfied.

"Miss Harris, this whole thing was a misunderstanding. That gentleman is indeed a VIP of Jacques Bistro Restaurant, a guest of the Number Three Supreme Suite!" Manager Morgan wiped the sweat from his forehead, explaining helplessly.

"The Number Three Supreme Suite guest?"

Erica and the elegant lady were both surprised by Manager Morgan's words.

"How is that possible? We are the guests of the Number Three Supreme Suite! That Brentley must be lying. Manager Morgan, you need to bring him back!" Erica shouted, her expression growing increasingly agitated.

"Miss Harris, I didn't make a mistake. He is definitely the guest of Suite No. 3. Our front desk has the records. That suite was booked by Brentley!" Manager Morgan said with a frown.

"That's impossible. You must be mistaken. That suite was clearly booked by my cousin. How could it be Brentley?" Erica retorted, turning her head to look at her cousin standing nearby.

"Miss Harris, if you don't believe me, I can take you to see the front desk records right now!" Manager Morgan explained, looking troubled as he couldn't disclose too much about Brentley.

"Fine, let's go. I don't believe that jerk has the money to book a suite in a place like this!" Erica shouted defiantly. "No need to check. The suite wasn't booked by me; it was booked by my fiance," Erica's cousin said softly, biting her red lip.

"What?" Erica's eyes widened in shock as she heard this, her face displaying utter disbelief.
