Caroline's Plan.

Brentley stared at Vienna standing before him, utterly at a loss for words. He never imagined that Vienna would think he gave her the villa because he wanted to keep her as a mistress. In reality, Brentley had no such intentions.

"Mr. Carter, please rest assured. I've always been very proper. I've never had a boyfriend, and I'm clean!" Vienna quickly added when she saw Brentley remaining silent.

Brentley glanced up and down at Vienna. He had to admit, she was quite attractive. Her figure was top-notch, with a well-proportioned chest, long and slender legs beneath her denim shorts, and a slim waist. Her delicate face had a hint of innocence and cuteness, although her attire was a bit shabby. With a little effort, she might not compare to someone like Claire, but she would definitely outshine Ophelia.

If it had been the old Brentley Carter, he might have been tempted by such a beautiful woman offering herself. But now, having met Claire, even though she was only his fiancee in name, Brentley had no desire to get involved with other women. At least, not until Claire did something to betray him.

"I think you might have misunderstood my intentions," Brentley said softly after a moment of hesitation.

"Misunderstood?" Vienna's eyes flashed with confusion at his words.

"I gave you the villa without any ulterior motives. I just felt sorry for you because you were being bullied. This villa might seem incredibly valuable to you, but to me, it's nothing. It's like if you didn't have money to get home, and I gave you a hundred dollars for the fare. I don't expect anything in return," Brentley explained gently, looking at Vienna.

Brentley Carter's words were overheard by Caroline, who had just walked in. She couldn't help but take a deep breath, her expression filled with exasperation.

After all, it was the first time she had heard someone compare a $960,000 mansion to a $100 cab fare. The two were worlds apart, weren't they?

But perhaps she didn't realize that, in Brentley Carter's eyes, that amount of money might be less significant than $100 to an average person.

"Mr. Carter, are you really not asking me to be your mistress?" Vienna asked Brentley, her face full of confusion.

"No..." Brentley shook his head gently.

"In that case, I can't accept this mansion!" Vienna hesitated, biting her red lips as she spoke softly.

"Why not?" Brentley asked Vienna, clearly puzzled.

"I... I feel that I haven't earned it. This mansion is so expensive, and you're just giving it to me for free. I can't accept it..." Vienna said in a low voice.

"I already explained to you that the money for this mansion means nothing to me. You don't need to feel any burden!" Brentley felt a deep sense of frustration. He hadn't expected Vienna to be so stubborn, refusing the mansion just because she wouldn't be his mistress.

It was the first time Brentley had encountered a girl who would willingly offer herself to be his mistress.

Back when Brentley had no money, every girl looked down on him, even Ophelia. This must be the change that money brought to him!

"But..."

"Vienna, why are you being so difficult? If Mr. Carter wants to gift you a villa, just accept it. Otherwise, you would be wasting his good intentions!"

At this moment, Caroline walked over to Vienna's side and softly persuaded her.

"Manager Brown, I really can't accept such an expensive gift!"

If Brentley wanted to keep Vienna as his mistress and gave her a villa in return, Vienna could accept it. After all, the villa would be something she earned with her own body!

But now, Brentley wanted nothing in return, and Vienna found it hard to accept.

"Vienna, if I remember correctly, hasn't your father been ill for a long time? And hasn't your family been unable to afford his surgery? Now, if you sell this villa, you'll have the money for your father's operation, right?" Caroline continued, looking at Vienna.

Vienna was taken aback by Caroline's words. She then looked up at Brentley.

"Don't worry. Since I've given you this villa, I have no intention of taking it back. It's yours now, and you can do whatever you want with it," Brentley said softly to Vienna.

Vienna looked at Brentley with an excited expression on her face and shouted, "Mr. Carter, thank you so much! I don't even know how to thank you..."

"You don't need to thank me," Brentley replied indifferently before turning and heading out of the sales office.

Vienna and Caroline followed closely behind Brentley, accompanying him out of the sales office.

"Vienna, you can go back now. I have something I need to discuss with Mr. Carter," Caroline said, spotting Vienna lingering by her side. She quickly came up with an excuse to send her away.

Vienna hesitated for a moment but didn't say anything. She turned and headed back to the sales office.

Caroline, meanwhile, clicked her high heels and swayed her hips as she called out sweetly, "Mr. Carter, please wait for me..."

"What do you want now?" Brentley turned to look at Caroline, his tone calm and indifferent. At this moment, Brentley didn't have a favorable impression of Caroline, so he had no intention of engaging with her.

"Mr. Carter, didn't you say earlier that you thought the houses in this development weren't up to your standards?" Caroline began, her voice dripping with sweetness. "We actually have a villa community out in the suburbs. If you're interested, I can take you there to have a look. It's a new development with all kinds of layouts and prices. I'm sure you'll find something you like!"

Caroline deliberately moved closer to Brentley, her voice soft and alluring.

"It's getting late today. Maybe another time," Brentley replied softly after a moment of thought, gently declining her offer.

"Mr. Carter, it's not that late yet. We should go take a look. After all, if we wait, the best houses might be taken!" Caroline batted her eyelashes at Brentley, her tone coquettish (suggesting flirtation or playfulness)

Brentley seemed to waver at Caroline's words.

In truth, Caroline intentionally wanted to take Brentley to see the houses at this hour. The sales office was at least an hour away from the suburbs, and by the time they finished looking at the properties, it would be well past ten at night.

This way, Caroline would have the perfect chance to get Brentley to take her home. Once Brentley stepped into her house, she could rightfully keep him there overnight.

At that point, all Caroline needed was a casual opportunity to turn their relationship into something more intimate.

Caroline, with her alluring figure and stunning looks, was confident that if she stood naked in front of Brentley, he wouldn't be able to resist sleeping with her.
