This wasn't the Silver Whirlpool anymore.
This was the breeding ground of the silver bugs.
Because of that sudden downpour of white rain, a strange atmosphere now hung over the entire Siren city-state.
It was as if the animal kingdoms of Africa had entered mating season. What followed was an explosive wave of reproductive frenzy across species.
Still, compared to what was happening in the main square, at least these creatures had the decency to find a secluded place.
As Eros passed by and took a quick glance at these demi-human races doing their part for Greek biodiversity, he couldn't help but reflect.
Athena had already brought him news of the new humanity's coming. It wouldn't be long before a new era dawned.
These so-called "city-states" of the demi-humans weren't true city-states. In essence, they were just large tribes gathered beneath the feet of a god.
Their facilities all centered around Acheron. Without her, this entire city-state would collapse in an instant.
They weren't lacking in intelligence. Many rivaled humans in intellect. But they would never build kingdoms and civilizations like those of future mankind.
After all, the Almighty Father preferred those who resembled the gods—humans—not these other races.
So, while these demi-human tribes still flourished for now, their reckoning was inevitable.
Even the gods who once created or protected them would no longer be able to shelter them.
Thinking of that, Eros felt a twinge of regret.
Monster girls were currently so abundant, but in the future, they'd become rare treasures.
He returned to the car parked by the seaside, where Hera and Amphitrite were already waiting for him.
"Huh? You're back already? Was the banquet that boring?"
Hebe looked surprised at how quickly Eros had returned.
She thought, given his nature, he'd spend at least the whole day there.
And those massive banquets usually lasted for days, dancing from daylight straight through the night.
Eros, being the standout he was, should've been the center of attention. He wouldn't have been snubbed. Right?
"Wait, did Sister Acheron discriminate against you because you're human? Should I have gone with you?"
Amphitrite, ever the overly cautious one, was worried she might've held Eros back from something important.
"You're overthinking it. I just didn't like it, that's all."
Eros sat down, casually wrapping an arm around Amphitrite's waist, his fingers sliding into the folds beneath her dress.
"Eh? H-Hebe's still here… this isn't okay…"
Amphitrite weakly protested.
Back in the palace, she was already ashamed enough whenever Hebe eavesdropped on them through the walls.
But doing this right in front of her? It was a bit too much.
"Don't get the wrong idea. I'm just soothing my eyes and hands," Eros replied righteously.
"You guys have no idea how scarring it was in there. I'm telling you, it was horrifying."
At those elegant oceanic banquets, goddesses had their classical grace. A little suggestive teasing, tasteful restraint.
They were good-looking women, and when they weren't clothed, they were still good-looking.
But that massive open-air party just now?
Nearly a thousand demi-humans, with scales, wings, feathers, all kinds of shapes and sizes—and even their skin colors didn't match.
All mashed together in a sea of motion…
Eros genuinely felt like he'd wandered onto the set of Planet Earth: Adult Edition.
Or worse, into the deep end of a grotesque hentai forum. It triggered a physical reaction—nausea, dizziness, that kind of trauma.
So upon returning, he needed to wash his eyes with Amphitrite's sweet innocence.
He wasn't in the mood to do anything. After witnessing that kind of madness, even his cosmos couldn't spark.
"You two really are more pleasing to the eye. Let me hold you a little longer."
Amphitrite flushed red and simply melted into his embrace, her thoughts growing hazy.
Meanwhile, Eros was silently firming up his resolve.
I must become a man of refined taste. I refuse to be a lust-driven silver bug, led around by the little head.
If they weren't pretty enough or if their personalities were too absurd, he wouldn't touch them, not even with a stick.
"So, did you settle on a target already? You came back pretty fast."
Hera was secretly hoping he'd set his sights on Acheron.
"Of course I did."
"The one who dared to unleash a Crescent Moon Getsuga in public—almost splashed me in the process. She's perfect."
At least people back in China did that stuff on rooftops at night.
Acheron? She blasted it in front of thousands on a city plaza.
Truly an eye-opener.
"Acheron, huh? That's great," Hera said, relieved.
She didn't quite understand Eros's bizarre phrasing, but at least they were aligned.
"Don't worry. Whatever method we need to use, I'll help you deliver her to Poseidon."
She had only planned to watch from the sidelines, but now Hera was fully onboard.
"No big deal. First we bait her with flattery, then coax her with promises, then pressure her with threats. A full combo will break her down for sure."
Eros laid out his plan with full confidence.
"We start by hyping her up, call her the most beautiful goddess of the sea, get that gossip circulating to lure Poseidon in."
"Then, we fake a divine order from Oceanus telling her to marry Poseidon and become Queen of the Seas."
The mark on his arm, left by Oceanus, wasn't just for show.
It was a one-time opportunity. Eros could forge a command in Oceanus's name using that seal.
Just a little backup from dear old dad. Whether he did it for Zeus's sake or someone else's, who knew?
Maybe it was for Zeus?
Hera nodded. With a combo like that, Acheron wouldn't stand a chance.
After all, if Eros could whip out Oceanus's name, she wouldn't have time to run to the Deep Abyss and verify it with her father in person.
"But what about Poseidon? What if he's not into her?"
"Don't worry. Acheron's got a decent foundation, and she's exactly the type Poseidon likes. Under my training, I'll have that silver bug burning with lust in no time."
Everyone knew Poseidon's little head ran the show.
A hot girl backed by Oceanus's 'blessing'? There's no way he'd refuse.
As for the slim chance he did, that was fate trying to stir the pot—Eros would handle that by tricking him into swearing a River Styx oath.
But to pull all of this off, neither Eros nor Amphitrite could appear before Poseidon, just in case their presence created unnecessary complications.
Which meant securing Acheron's cooperation was critical.
Just as Eros was wondering how to get that done, he heard her voice from outside.
"Dearest Eros, I'm here! Hurry and let me in!"
Acheron's eager, even breathless voice called from outside the car.
She had completely misread Eros's words from earlier as a subtle invitation.
As a result, no matter how hard she tried to enjoy the rest of the party, her mind kept wandering back to Eros's handsome, chiseled form.
After fumbling through a few rounds of carnal chaos, she left behind an avatar and secretly slipped away, tracking his scent all the way here.
Oh? Still in the car? He must enjoy some vibration play!
After picturing the scene in her head, she made a mental note to prioritize hygiene.
Hairy ones? No-go. Dirt, bugs, weird smells. Definitely a risk.
Scales? They looked clean, but parasites loved hiding between them.
Without good hygiene, she'd definitely get sick.
