"Shiro, stay back. You don't have to fight this. Leave it to me." Kami spoke, keeping his eyes focused on the woman in front of him. Shiro nodded in response, keeping his ground firmly. The woman squirmed with excitement, blushing a dark purple with a lustful smirk on her face.
"Awwww, this is so cute!! I COULD NEARLY DIE!" She shouted as she flicked her tail, hundreds of heart-shaped projectiles firing towards Kami, who stayed alert. With an explosion of debris, he quickly shifted his arm, the dust disappearing within seconds. Shiro looked at Kami's pose. It's like he wasn't going to fight..? But, why?
"Do you mind if you tell me your name?" Kami asked, pointing directly at the woman with a seductive smirk. Instantly, she fell in love. It seems his abilities weren't restricted to his strength, but also to his attributes. Shiro stared blankly at the question, sighing.
"There's no way this is what he uses his abilities for..."
The woman nervously spoke, her mouth quivering as the words slowly left, "...Mirevyn." She spoke nervously as she looked at Kami once again. His face was completely different. With a shift of personality, she soared into the sky with her miniature wings that could carry her figure, using her tail to fire more projectiles directly at Shiro now.
Kami quickly looked back, flickering directly in front of Shiro, deflecting each attack simply with his hand. With a deep breath, he fired the shield towards Mirevyn, sending her crashing into the ceiling, causing debris to fall. With the acknowledgement of Shiro and the girl on his back being okay, he stood up fully, dusting himself off. He knew this wasn't the end yet. With Mirevyn currently crushed under rocks, she roared, the rocks shattering as she stood up. You could simply tell there was more to her, just from a look at her.
Mirevyn laughed, "You REALLY thought some stupid rocks could kill me? Dumb man..." She spoke in anger as she blasted Kami, but there was something she didn't notice. Kami was standing still. A bit TOO still. Like she wasn't worth his standard...AND THIS ANGERED HER. With a cancelling of her attack, she flew towards Kami, grabbing him by the throat, launching him into a wall, flashing her energy directly in his face. Still, he wasn't scared.
"Mirevyn, is it? Maybe it's time i put a little percent in. You wanna play rough? LET'S PLAY ROUGH!" Kami shouted as he grabbed her throat, slamming her down into the ground, massive forces of energy pulling her down as he dragged her across the ground , feeling her hands tapping against his wrist. But he didn't care. He wanted to cure his boredom. He sprung into the air with her, slamming her body into a wall as he ran up, charging his legs as he released a dropkick, causing a crack as her body fell slowly. Kami stood upon her, his shadow covering her.
Standing upon her, he only had one thought - not one of retribution, violence or anything of the sorts. He wanted one thing.
"Tell me where everybody's memories are, and maybe you'll live to see another day." Kami spoke, his tone blunt yet serious. Mirevyn looked back, looking at the scratches and blood seeping from her legs. With fear blooming on her face, crawled backwards, her mouth barely able to form a word. Her arms shivered in the presence of what seemed to be a God.
"M-mem...Nul....Top...." She spoke as her eyes rolled back. She had passed out fully. The amount of trauma to her body caused a shock reaction. Kami turned around, walking back to Shiro, knowing they had to patch the words together.
"What did she say?"
"Mem. Nul. Top." Kami spoke, sighing. He had an idea in mind, but wanted to hear Shiro's theorizing first. Rushing into something with a plan that only one person had followed would be too risky on his part. He had a goal - Protect Shiro.
"Mem....Nul...Top..." Shiro repeated, "And she didn't do any gestures, no nothing, whatsoever..? We can only make a hunch and guess from there." He sighed as he pointed at the top of the room, slowly beginning to connect the dots. Just from the look on his face, Kami could tell that he was thinking of something.
"You've got something in mind?"
"Yeah."
"Go on.."
"Let's just assume a few things. We're in the castle. The only things she could pretty much mention are things to relate to it. Which is why I'm making the assumption that...at the top of the castle, all the memories are stored...It's also where the Nullum are created, and that is where we'll find our orchestrator of memories." Shiro smirked, looking at Kami, who patted him on the head.
"You're a pretty smart kid, y'know? But the question is how do we get to the top. We don't have a staircase in a place like this." Kami looked, staring at Shiro, who seemed to be weirdly gazing directly at him. It's like he was trying to telepathically communicate the message forwards, even though he clearly couldn't do that.
"Oh...!! That makes sense." Kami looked as he charged a blast from his fingertips, exploding one of the walls. Shiro watched as he walked towards the exploded wall, feeling the texture of the castle's infrastructure. With this, he was about to climb until Kami grabbed him by the collar once again, lifting him up to the spire of the castle. Luckily, there was a window made of glass, easy for them to see the current operations.
"Memories, memories, memories. Eventually, I'll make the entire world my own memory. They'll all remember me...AND I'LL MAKE SURE THEY DO!" A voice shouted as another voice had entered the conversation.
"Chief. It seems that Mirevyn has been knocked unconscious. The causes are unknown." The voice spoke.
"I don't care about Mirevyn. She's always unconscious. What I'm more interested in...is the little girl. Is she ready?"
"It seems that she's been reported missing. When I witnessed the site, all of the Nullum were de-" The voice was quickly cut off by a large wave of energy. Dark red eyes. Those were the only things Shiro and Kami could see.
"WELL, GET EVERY DAMN NULLUM TO GO AND LOOK FOR HER!! SHE'S THE CATALYST FOR THIS DAMN EXPERIMENT!" The voice shouted in anger.
"Yes, chief." The voice spoke as the conversation had ended. Shiro and Kami watched, nodding.
It was time for them to intervene.
