Chapter 137: Jigglypuff Join The Group

(Soon, they notice Jigglypuff is looking rather upset.)

Brock: "What's wrong with, Jigglypuff?"

(Brock asks.)

Misty: "I think Jigglypuff is upset because we fell asleep during its song,"

(Misty says.)

Brock: "No way. How could anyone be mad about something like that?"

(Brock wonders.)

Misty: "I wouldn't be too happy if everyone fell asleep while I was performing for them,"

(Misty comments.)

Brock: "Neither would I,"

(Brock comments.)

Mew: "Well, Jigglypuff can use a move called Sing and it puts people to sleep. She must have used the move as she sang,"

(Mew says.)

(Jigglypuff sadly says.)

Jigglypuff: "Jiggly" (Sorry.)

Misty: "It's okay, Jigglypuff. We know you didn't mean too,"

(Misty says.)

Mew: "She's right. In fact, it just showed that you've learned a new move. You just need to practice some more and you can even sing without putting people to sleep,"

(Mew says.)

(Jigglypuff smiles and nods her head.)

(Suddenly, they hear snoring coming from the grass close by.)

Tomo: "What's that?"

(Tomo asks.)

Mew: "It looks like we're not the only ones who have fallen asleep by Jigglypuff,"

(Mew says.)

(Mew and the others walk into the bushes and are shocked to see the familiar group.)

Mew: "Team Rocket,"

(Mew says.)

Misty: "What are they doing here?"

(Brock picks up a boom microphone.)

Brock: "And look at this. They were trying to record Jigglypuff's singing."

Mew: "Should have known they wouldn't give up so easily,"

(Mew says.)

Misty: "We better get out of here before they wake up,"

(Misty says.)

Brock: "Let's go,"

(Brock says.)

(With that, Mew and her friends leave the area before Team Rocket has a chance to wake up.)

(Soon, they are able to find a quiet clearing where they try to think of what to do now.)

Misty: "So what do we do now? We helped Jigglypuff learn to sing and keep Team Rocket away from them,"

(Misty says.)

Brock: "And Jigglypuff has one strong Sing attack,"

(Brock says.)

(Then Misty sighs.)

Misty: "You know, Jigglypuff's singing makes me feel happy and I actually was able to get a little sleep."

Tomo: "Me too,"

(Tomo says.)

(That's when Mew has an idea.)

Mew: "Hey guys, I think I have an idea."

(Then turns to Jigglypuff.)

Mew: "Jigglypuff, do you think you can do a little favor for us?"

Jigglypuff: "Jiggly." (Of course)

(Jigglypuff answers with a smile.)

Misty: "What's your idea?"

(Misty asks.)

Mew: "Well, I was thinking… why not have Jigglypuff sing her song to everyone in Neon Town. You've seen how they don't get any sleep and how they're fighting and on edge. So if we had Jigglypuff sing her song to everyone in town…"

(Mew explains.)

Brock: "Then everyone will finally be able to have a good night's sleep and no one will be on edge. Even Jenny can finally get some sleep,"

(Brock says.)

Misty: "That's a great idea,"

(Misty says.)

Tomo: "Great idea,"

(Tomo says.)

(Mew and the others hurry into the center of town and are able to find the stage they're looking for.)

(Jigglypuff is astonished to see the stage full of microphones, speakers, and a stand for her to sit on.)

Jigglypuff: "Jiggly Jiggly!" (Wow, it's amazing!)

(Jigglypuff happily says.)

Misty: "We knew you liked it, Jigglypuff,"

(Misty says.)

Mew: "And with the microphone, everyone in town will be able to hear you sing,"

(Mew says.)

Brock: "And it looks like everything is ready for the show,"

(Brock says.)

(Misty turns to Jigglypuff.)

Misty: "Ready to perform, Jigglypuff?"

Jigglypuff: "Jiggly." (I'm ready.

(Jigglypuff happily says.)

(Jigglypuff hops on the stand on the stage and the lights are on Jigglypuff.)

(People who are walking by stop to see Jigglypuff.)

(Jigglypuff soon begins to sing.)

Jigglypuff:

Jigglypuff, Jiggly, yyyyy, puff

Jigglypuff, Jiggly

(Soon, Jigglypuff's voice is being heard throughout the city.)

Jigglypuff:

Jigglypuff, Jiggly, yyyyy, puff

Jigglypuff, Jiggly

(Everyone begins to stop what they're doing and listen to the song.)

Jigglypuff:

Jigglypuff

Jigglypuff

Jigglypuff

Jiggly

(There are even people at the stage to see Jigglypuff sing.)

Jigglypuff

Jigglypuff

(Soon, everyone around town is getting drowsy and begins to fall asleep all over the streets.)

Jigglypuff:

Jigglypuff, Jiggly, yyyyy, puff

Jigglypuff, Jiggly

(Everyone all over Neon town, including Mew and her friends have fallen asleep due to Jigglypuff's song.)

Jigglypuff:

Jigglypuff, Jiggly, yyyyy, puff

Jigglypuff, Jiggly

(Jigglypuff finishes the song and looks to see the plan has worked.)

(Jigglypuff lets out a yawn and walks off the stage to see Misty sleeping.)

(Jigglypuff smiles and sleeps next to Misty and snuggles her with glee.)

(It's thanks to Misty and her friends that she is able to sing.)

(The next day, Mew and her friends, including Tomo and the Pokemon wake up from their sleep.)

(Mew yawns and says.)

Mew: "What a great nap that was."

(Soon, everyone else around town is waking up from their sleep.)

Misty: "Everyone is able to sleep,"

(Misty says, holding Jigglypuff in her arms.)

Brock: "It sure seemed so,"

(Brock says.)

(They soon see everyone begin to apologize to each other for the fights that's been happening.)

Brock: "Jigglypuff's song not only puts people to sleep, but maybe it has the power to make people nicer, too,"

(Brock says.)

(Just then, the man from before walks to the stage.)

man: "Hey, it's you. I just wanted to apologize for bumping into you last night."

Mew: "Uh, you're that guy,"

(Mew says, a little surprised.?

man: "Yeah, I'm sorry,"

(The man says.)

Mew: "That's okay Thanks for the apology,"

(Mew says.)

(Seeing Neon Town is now a happier place and their work is done, the group are walking in the forest.)

Mew: "This is great! Everyone in town's so happy now!"

(Mew says.)

Brock: "Yeah, everyone needs a good rest now and then to recharge,"

(Brock says.)

Misty: "I agree,"

(Misty says.)

(Suddenly, Jigglypuff stops at a tree close by and it has a hole in the stomp.)

Misty: "What are you doing, Jigglypuff?"

(Misty asks.)

Jigglypuff: "Jigglypuff," (Wait here.)

(Jigglypuff says.)

(She then walks inside the stump.)

Brock: "Hmm, I wonder what's Jigglypuff's doing?"

(Brock says.)

Mew and Tomo: "Don't know,"

(Mew and Tomo reply, confused.)

(Just then, Jigglypuff takes out two items.)

(She gives Brock and Tomo a Soothe Bell.)

Brock and Tomo: "Thank you Jigglypuff!"

(The boys reply.)

(Jigglypuff then runs back into the tree and brings out an egg.)

(The egg is pale pink with bright pink swirls on it.)

(Then passes it to Mew.)

Mew: "Is that for me?"

(Mew asks.)

Jigglypuff: "Jiggly jiggly." (It's for you.)

(Jigglypuff happily says.)

(Mew then takes the Egg.)

Mew: "Thank you."

(Jigglypuff then hurries back into the stump and brings out a Moon Ball.)

(Then walks to Misty.)

Misty: "Is that for me,"

(Misty says.)

Jigglypuff: "Jiggly," (It is.)

(Jigglypuff happily says.)

Misty: "Thank you,"

(Misty says, taking the Moon Ball.)

(Jigglypuff then taps on the Pokeball button, and she goes inside.)

(The Moon ball shakes a little, until it clicks.)

(Then Jigglypuff comes out, and hugs Misty with glee.)

(Realizing what it means, Misty asks.)

Misty: "So does that mean you want to come with me?"

Jigglypuff: "Jiggly Jiggly." (I sure do.)

(Jigglypuff happily says.)

Misty: "Well then, I'm glad that you can come,"

(Misty says.)

(Jigglypuff then snuggles Misty with glee.)

(Suddenly, the Egg Jigglypuff given to Mew is beginning to glow and move.)

(Mew says, surprised.)

Mew: "Already?"

(The Egg glows and soon it bursts open, and the light disappears to reveal a baby Pokemon.)

(The baby Pokemon is a small, bipedal balloon-like Pokémon that is completely pink.)

(It has a rounded tuft of hair on top of its head, a small swirl-like pattern on its forehead, and red eyes, and has small, stubby limbs.)

(The baby Pokemon says.)

Igglybuff: "Igglybuff."

Mew: "Aww, what a cute little Pokemon,"

(Mew says.)

Brock: "It's an Igglybuff,"

(Brock says.)

(Mew brings out her Pokedex and Dexter says.)

Dexter: "Igglybuff, the Balloon Pokemon and the pre-evolved form of Jigglypuff. A Normal and Fairy Type. It's always practicing its singing because it wants to improve. Even when it's asleep, it keeps singing in its dreams!"

Igglybuff: "Iggly,"

(Igglybuff happily says, looking at Mew.)

Mew: "Hello Igglybuff, it's nice to meet you,"

(Mew happily says.)

(Mew and her friends smile to see things have turned out to be a good past day or so.)

(They help Jigglypuff learn to sing, and Jigglypuff decides to join up with Misty.)

(Mew receives a Pokemon Egg and has already hatched into Igglybuff.)

(And so, Mew and her friends continue on their journey.)
