Chapter 136: Jigglypuff Used Sing First Time

(Soon, Team Rocket appears before Mew and her friends and are wearing different outfits.)

(Jessie calls out.)

Jessie: "Greetings, you Pokemon pipsqueaks!"

(Mew and the others turn to see Team Rocket.)

Mew: "Huh? What are those guys doing here?"

(Mew asks.)

(James turns up an amplifier to the highest level it can go, as he says.)

James: "Pump it up to the max."

(Soon music begins to be played from the speakers that are on Meowth's shoulders and soon they begin to sing.)

Jessie/James: You know it's us Team Rocket and we fight for what is wrong, we're tired of our motto so we thought we'd try a song!

Jessie: Jessie!

James: James!

Jessie/James: The speed of light prepares to fight!

Meowth: Meowth, that's right!

James: I am the handsome one!

Jessie: I am the gorgeous one!

Jessie/James: Looking good is a lot of fun, we get some things wrong, but we keep rolling along!

Jessie/James/Meowth: We want to capture Pikachu, we hope to do it soon, and when we do we'll be the new Stars of this Cartoon!

(Soon, the song ends and Team Rocket begins to give each other critique.)

Jessie: "You need to work on your timing. You were late on the last verse,"

(Jessie says.)

Meowth: "But my pitch was perfect,"

(Meowth says.)

(That leaves Mew and her friends baffled.)

Misty: "So, what's your crummy plan this time?"

(Misty asks.)

(Team Rocket turns to face Mew and the others.)

Jessie: "We need Jigglypuff to sing one of its little lullabies for us,"

(Jessie says.)

Misty: "It's lullaby?"

(Misty says, confused.)

(James says, into the mic.)

James: "Jigglypuff is gonna sing Team Rocket right to the top!"

(Jigglypuff covers her mouth in shock.)

Misty: "Hey, Mew. This looks bad!"

(Misty says.)

(Mew takes action and throws her Pokeball.)

Mew: "I choose you, Bulbasaur!"

(Then Bulbasaur comes out.)

(Mew calls out.)

Mew: "Take care of em!"

James: "Get them, Weezing!"

(James says from the mic.)

(Weezing and Bulbasaur charge.)

(James calls out.)

James: "Weezing, Poison Gas attack!

Mew: "Bulbasaur, Vine Whip!"

(Mew calls out.)

(Before Weezing can use his Poison Gas, Bulbasaur spins it around with its Vine Whip.)

(Weezing spins around until it's facing Team Rocket much to their horror.)

(Then Weezing spray them causing them to cough.)

Misty: "Okay, Staryu!"

(Misty calls out.)

(Staryu comes out and uses Water Gun and spray Team Rocket to send them packing.)

(Later on, Misty is helping give Jigglypuff some music lessons.)

Misty: "Do re mi fa so la ti do Do ti la so fa mi re do"

(Once she's done, she turns to Jigglypuff.)

Misty: "Like that. See how I control my breathing as I sing the notes?"

Mew: "You're a great voice teacher, Misty,"

(Mew comments with a smile.)

Misty: "Okay, now it's your turn,"

(Misty says to Jigglypuff.)

(Jigglypuff tries, but turns its head away.)

Mew: "This may be harder than we thought,"

(Mew says.)

(Eevee then walks to Jigglypuff and begins to see.)

Eevee: "Eev. Eev. Eev. Eev. Eev."

(Then Pikachu joins in as well.)

(Mew giggles.)

Mew: "I think Eevee and Pikachu are trying to encourage Jigglypuff."

Misty: "That's very sweet of them,"

(Misty says.)

(Then Jigglypuff turns to Eevee then tries to sing.)

Jigglypuff: "Jigglypuff Jiggaly… puff…"

(Then coughs a little.)

Mew: "Hmm, maybe Jigglypuff's throat is a little sore,"

(Mew suggests.)

(Misty has an idea and blows up a red balloon.)

Misty: "Now you try it. Fill up the balloon like this,"

(Misty says.)

Brock: "It'll help make your lungs bigger and stronger,"

(Brock says.)

(However, Jigglypuff turns her head away.)

Mew: "Maybe she didn't want to do that method,"

(Mew suggests.)

Misty: Take it,"

(Misty says.)

(Then puts the balloon in Jigglypuff's mouth.)

Misty: "Here you go."

(However, the balloon deflates the air into Jigglypuff's body.)

(Then she goes flying in the air.)

Mew: "Let's try something else,"

(Mew says.)

(Soon, Brock takes the lead and they all walk into a forest full of fruit trees.)

(Brock looks around as he says.)

Brock: "Let's see."

(Then Brock finds what he is looking for.)

Brock: "There it is! Here, look at this!"

(Brock then runs to a tree and picks a fruit from it.)

Misty: "What's that, Brock?"

(Misty asks.)

Brock: "The juice of this fruit has very special properties. It has the power to heal your throat if it's sore or tired."

(Brock says.)

Tomo: "Really?"

(Tomo asks.)

Brock: "If Jigglypuff eats it, it might start singing,"

(Brock says.)

(Misty turns to Jigglypuff.)

Misty: "Give it a try, Jigglypuff."

Mew: "It might help you,"

(Mew says.)

(Jigglypuff decides to try it and eat the fruit.)

(Jigglypuff chews it and swallows it.)

(Everyone waits patiently to see if it will work.)

(Soon, Jigglypuff begins to sing.)

Jigglypuff: "Jigglypuff Jiggaly-puff"

(Misty happily cheers.)

Misty: "Hooray!"

Jigglypuff: "Jiggly! Jiggly!" (I can sing! I can sing!)

(Jigglypuff says, jumping for joy.)

(Mew, Borck, and Tomo are glad they can help Jigglypuff.)

(Jigglypuff even dances with Pikachu and Eevee who are happy that Jigglypuff can sing.)

(Sometime later, Misty places Jigglypuff back on the stump where they found it.)

(Misty happily says.)

Misty: "Please sing for us, Jigglypuff."

(Jigglypuff nods her head and takes a deep breath.)

(With that Jigglypuff begins to sing her song.)

Jigglypuff:

Jigglypuff, Jiggly, yy-puff, puff

Jigglypuff, Jiggly

Jigglypuff, Jiggly, yy-puff, puff

Jigglypuff, Jiggly

(The others listen to Jigglypuff's lovely song.)

(However, Jigglypuff is also using the move, Sing, that is putting them to sleep.)

(Meanwhile, Team Rocket is carrying a recorder and a microphone and has a plan up their sleeve.)

Meowth: "Good thinking, Jessie. Why go through the trouble of capturing Jigglypuff…"

(Meowth says.?

Jessie: "When all we want is its voice,"

(Jessie says.)

(James says.)

James: "We'll just record it, and use it ourselves!"

Meowth: "We got it made!"

(Meowth adds.)

(Soon, they hear Jigglypuff sing.)

James: "It's over there!"

(James says.)

(Team Rocket gets low to the ground.)

Jessie: "Time to record,"

(Jessie says, activating the recorder.)

(James then extends the boom microphone towards Jigglypuff to record her singing.)

(Jigglypuff soon stops to notice Mew and the others are fast asleep.)

(Jigglypuff walks to Misty and taps her on the shoulder.)

(Misty soon wakes up, and notices Jigglypuff has a sad look on her face.)

Misty: "What's wrong, Jigglypuff?"

(Misty asks.)

(Soon, Mew and the others wake up themselves.)

Tomo: "What happened?"

(Tomo asks.)

Mew: "We fell asleep,"

(Mew says.)
