Chapter 157: Team Rocket Trio's Another Defeat

(Meanwhile, Todd preps his picture of Pikachu.)

Todd: "Alright. Hold it,"

(Todd says, and snaps a picture.)

(He finally has the picture, and happily says.)

Todd: "I did it! Now, just a few more…!"

(But soon notices something underneath Mew.)

(it looks like bricks and they're beginning to crack.)

Todd: "Oh no!"

(Todd panics and throws the rope down to them.)

(He cries out.)

Todd: "Grab the rope! The bottom of the pit is crumbling! You gotta get out before it falls through!"

(Before they have the chance.)

(the floor breaks down from under Mew and Pikachu and they fall in and splash in the water.)

(Misty panic.)

Misty: "Mew!"

Brock: "Pikachu!"

(Brock panics.)

(Todd quickly climbs down with Tomo and Eevee behind him.)

(Mew and Pikachu hold on to the bag.)

Mew: "Pikachu, don't let go!"

(Mew says.)

Pikachu: "Pika!" (No problem!)

(Pikachu cries out.)

Todd: "Mew! Pikachu!

(Todd calls out.)

(The two then turn to see their friends hurrying to save them.)

Todd: "Are you okay?!"

(Todd asks.)

Mew: "Yeah, we're okay!"

(Mew answers.)

Todd: "Grab onto something, quick! There's not much time!"

(Todd panics.)

(Mew and Pikachu are confused and turn their heads to see the end of the tunnel and it leads to a waterfall.)

(Mew and Pikachu gasp in shock.)

(Mew then begins to swim with Pikachu on her head, but they are not getting faster.

(Mew panics.)

Mew: "There's nothing to grab onto!"

Todd: "We gotta think of something, fast!"

(Todd says.)

(Mew continues to swim as he says.)

Mew: "Hold on, Pikachu!"

(Mew continues to swim as fast as she can as Pikachu hangs on to her.)

(Todd then has an idea on how to save them.)

(He brings out his tripod with his camera on it.)

Todd: "Mew grab a hold!"

(Mew then quickly grabs the strap of Todd's camera and grabs on.)

(and just in time as he goes over the falls.)

(Mew looks up to see Todd, Tomo, and Eevee holding on to the tripod and the ladder.)

Todd: "Mew! Hang on!"

(Todd calls out.)

Mew: "Okay!"

(Mew calls out.)

(But notices.)

Mew: "But, your.. Your camera is ruined! You sacrificed your camera to save us?"

Todd: "Don't you worry about my camera, Mew! You just worry about holding on!"

(Todd says.)

Mew: "Okay!"

(Mew says.)

(Todd and the others begin to pull the tripod with the camera.)

(and Mew begins to climb on the camera.)

(Suddenly, they hear a familiar voice.)

???: "You did a great job for us, Todd!"

(Todd and the others look on the other side to see Todd's client.)

Old Woman: Prepare for trouble!

Old man: Make it double!

Old Woman: To protect the world from devastation!

Old Man: To unite all peoples within our nation!

Old woman: To denounce the evils of truth and love!

Old Man: To extend our reach to the stars above!

(Soon, the two remove their disguises to reveal Team Rocket.)

Jessie: Jessie!

James: James!

(Todd is shocked to see the elderly couple's true form.)

(Mew exclaims in shock.)

Mew: "Team Rocket!"

Tomo: "Not them again!"

(Tomo adds.)

Jessie: Team Rocket, blast off at the speed of light!

James: Surrender, now, or prepare to fight!

Meowth: Meowth! That's right!

Meowth: "And we just netted ourselves a Pikachu!"

(Meowth says, and extends a kind of net.)

(Then scoops Pikachu up.)

Mew: "Pikachu!"

(Mew panics.)

Todd::"Why did you trick me?!"

(Todd asks.)

Jessie: "You tricked us first, little shutterbug. We wanted you to TAKE that Pikachu, not take it's picture!"

Meowth: "But thanks for helping us snap up the real Pikachu,"

(Meowth says.)

James: "And just to show our gratitude, why don't you have one of these?"

(James says, and pulls out a bomb.)

(Then throw it at them.)

(The bomb explodes, shaking the tripod Mew is holding on.)

(Todd and the others refuse to let go as their feet begin to slip.)

(James then pulls out another bomb.)

James: "Looks like I need a little work on my aim."

(Then throws another one, soon one after another.)

Mew: "Todd! Tomo! Eevee!"

(Mew panics.)

(Meanwhile, Pikachu continues to squirm in the net as he is trying hard to break free.)

(Meowth laughs and says.)

Meowth: "Squirm all you want! You'll never get out of this rubber bag!"

Jessie: "Could we win this up, now, please?"

(Jessie asks.)

James: "Will do!"

(James says, and brings out another bomb.)

(Mew grits her teeth and knows that she needs to do something.)

(She notices Todd's camera and has an idea.)

James: "And the final pitch!"

(James says, about to throw the bomb.)

(But Mew shouts.)

Mew: "Hold it!

(Team Rocket soon sees Mew is holding Todd's camera, ready to take a picture.)

Mew: "Okay, everyone, just smile for the camera! You're gonna love this shot!"

(Mew says.)

(James smiles and laughs sheepishly.)

Mew: "What's the magic word?"

(Mew asks.)

James and Meowth: "Cheese!"

(James and Meowth say as they smile.)

(Jessie is fixing up her makeup.)

Jessie: "Let me just take a shine on that.."

Mew: "Now, look to the right,"

(Mew says.)

(Team Rocket turns their heads to see the bomb and it's about to go off.)

(And in seconds, it goes off with a bang.)

(Soon, Team Rocket is covered in dust and burnt marks.)

Jessie: "Oh! Look at, my face!"

(Jessie screams, looking at her face in the mirror.)

(Then turns to James.)

Jessie: "You ruined the shot!"

(and kicks James back.)

(That gives Todd, Tomo and Eevee, enough time to pull Mew back to solid ground.)

Mew: "Thanks guys,"

(Mew says.)

(Then turns to Team Rocket.)

Mew: "Okay, guys. Let's give Team Rocket our best shot!"

(Mew then throws her Pokeball.)

Mew: "Bulbasaur, go!"

(Bulbasaur then comes out of the Pokeball.)

(Mew calls out.)

Mew: "Bulbasaur, Razor Leaf, now!"

(Bulbasaur unleashes the attack on Team Rocket, and begins to panic.)

James: "Cut it out!"

(James panics.)

(One of the leaves manages to cut the rubber bag Pikachu is in.)

(Mew shouts.)

Mew: "Run for it, Pikachu!"

Pikachu: "Pi! Pikachu!" (Right! Here I go!)

(Pikachu says, and escapes.)

(Mew calls out.)

Mew: "Bulbasaur, use Vine Whip!"

(With that, Bulbasaur performs Vine Whip and chases Team Rocket.)

(James screams.)

James: "Let's get out of here!"

(Team Rocket is forced to dive into the river to escape.)

Meowth: "Let's get to the water!"

(Meowth panics.)

(They all jump into the water and move along with the current.)

(However, they see something worse than the Pokemon attacking.)

Team Rocket: "A waterfall!"

(Team Rocket panics.)

(They all fall down the waterfall as they scream.)

Team Rocket: "Team Rocket is falling down again!"

Todd: "Nice work, Mew!"

(Todd says.)

Mew: "Thanks,"

(Mew says.)

(Mew calls back their Pokemon.)

Mew: "Bulbasaur, return."

(Bulbasaur returns to his Pokeball.)

(Suddenly, they hear Brock call out.)

Brock: "Hey Mew, Tomo! Todd! Over here!"

Misty: "Are you all okay?!"

(Misty asks.)

(Mew says.)

Mew: "You missed all the excitement!"

Todd: "You should have brought a camera!"

(Todd says.)

(The two become confused.)

(Pikachu climbs above the wall and jumps down into Mew's arms.)

(Eevee jumps on Mew's shoulder and is happy to see Pikachu safe.)

(Later on, Todd sets up his camera for a special photo.)

Todd: "I don't usually photograph humans, but this time, I'll make an exception! I wanna remember my new friends forever!"

(Todd says.)

Misty: "Get my good side!"

(Misty happily says.)

Todd: "Okay, get ready!"

(Todd says, setting up the camera and the timer.)

(Todd then rushes over to them, but slips on a rice ball and crashes into the gang.)

(Soon, everyone begins to laugh as the photo has been taken.)

(Everything has been rough today, but it shows that a picture is worth a thousand words.)

(and the photo of them smiling and laughing, definitely shows them.)
