I let my curiosity get the best of me. "So what are the other dorms like?" I asked Mark and Kit.
Mark was the first to answer. "Well, every floor was painted the three colors of KING'S RULE. Also, it wasn't as packed as I expected. We had about fifty people in the main game room and twenty in the first one. I think the RA said most of the Dorm Members were attending a tourney in the main building. But I got along with the others pretty well. I even squeezed in a game after my tour."
"Lucky!" Kit whined. "No one in the entire dome was playing each other. The upperclassmen were hosting a meeting for something called a raid. I didn't stay around to hear much, though." he adjusted his glasses. "Also, everything was green. Not that I minded that at all."
Quake said, "Wow, you make our dorm sound boring. Even though everyone was dueling, we didn't get much time to talk to anybody. We only met Alia on the elevator to lunch."
"I didn't get to meet anybody either until you guys. I spent most of my time organizing my room and setting up the TV."
"Interesting." Kit shoved up his glasses. "It seems like all of our dorms have a different feel to them."
We made it to the wizard dorm after a few minutes of chatter and walking. "So," Quake said. "Any clue where it could be?"
"How about around back?"
We circled the building twice. "Guess not. What about that thing over there?" Alia pointed to a booth between Sorcerer and Wizard dorm.
We walked to it. To our surprise, the door to it was open.
It was designed like a small shack. But as we entered it, we noticed that there was a set of stairs that led to a dark space below.
"That's not creepy." Alia noted.
Mark went down the stairs first. We all held our breath and listened. We heard his voice say, "Found it." a light turned on in the downstairs area. Mark stared up at us. "C'mon. It looks strange down here."
