Same day,
As All Might's Combat Exercise happened before lunch, regular classes had been shifted to the afternoon.
When all classes were done, the homeroom teacher, Shota Aizawa entered the classroom, holding a stack of documents.
"Class Rep…" he said lazily.
"Yes, Sir!" Tenya Ida shot to his feet.
"Easy…" Aizawa looked at Ida and Momo through the black circles around his eyes. "Distribute these to everyone."
As Tenya and Momo began giving one piece of paper to everyone, they realized what it was — UA's Pro Hero Course's new schedule for the first years.
"Because of the Jaku Incident and the Villain activity behind the explosion two weeks ago, we have rescheduled a few things for things to settle down," Aizawa told them. "First, in the last week of May, there will be a special exercise for you guys."
"Sir," Hanta Sero asked, raising his hand, "what kind of special exercise?"
Aizawa lifted his finger. "Rescue Mission."
The students began discussing rapidly about it with excitement.
"I wasn't finished," Aizawa continued, quieting the students. "The Rescue Mission will cover all kinds of disasters, shipwrecks, etc. You can choose to wear your Hero Costumes.
"For now, four teachers have been assigned to oversee this training, including me, Sand, All Might, and one other."
Yuga Aoyama raised his hand. "Sir, what's the exact date?"
"The date's not finalized, yet," Aizawa replied before lifting his second finger.
In the far back, Luke casually stared at Yuga Aoyama, who was All For One's spy. He knew Yuga would definitely report this Schedule to All For One.
There was no point in preventing that, either, as Luke would have to brainwash everyone in the class in that case.
For now, he would wait until the exact date was revealed to the students.
Only then he would think about how to best use his knowledge of Yuga being a spy.
"Second," Aizawa said, "you should all start preparing for the Sport Festival. It will most likely be held in the first or second week of June."
As the cheers roared through Aizawa's ears, he slammed the table lightly.
"There's no need to be so excited," he told them. "I have seen your results for today's exercise. Most of you did well in using the Hand-to-Hand Combat training, but if you can't back it up with your Quirks, then there's no point in fighting it out as well.
"Bakugo, what were you thinking? And, Midoriya… he hasn't even left the infirmary. Both of you need to work extremely hard on your Quirks without compromising the mission."
Then, Aizawa silently looked at Luke, making the latter look down.
"Next time you decide to hide something from your colleagues, think about the consequences," he said, not unkindly as All Might had explained Luke's situation to him. Still, the kid needed an earful, and All Might was too soft to do that. "I heard you wanted to be a Pro Hero to be something more than what people expected you to be…
"That's never going to happen if people, and your colleagues, are in danger because you were holding yourself back."
Luke's cheeks had gone red.
Why did Aizawa have to mention what he told All Might here… in front of everyone?
Of course, the students didn't get the time to look at Luke with different gazes for long. Aizawa continued to praise and bash each and every one before explaining the rest of the schedule.
After the Sports Festival, there would be Final Exams, followed by Hero Internships in the Summer Break.
Hero Agencies would be selecting students based on their performances in the Sports Festival, making it even more important.
Calling it a day, Aizawa walked out of the class, yawning.
As the students cheerfully began discussing the schedule, Luke eyed Yuga once more and sighed to himself.
Perched on his shoulder, Nyx patted him. "Come on. You can do it."
Luke licked his lips and nodded. "Everyone…" Not many heard him, though, except for Todoroki who was sitting right next to him.
"Everyone!" Momo shouted suddenly, making all look toward her. "Luke has something to say."
"And that's why we liked her…" Nyx mumbled to herself near Luke's ear.
Luke gulped, feeling the stares. It was much better to do this with a mask on his face, he realized.
"I am sorry for hiding my Quirk from you all," he told them. "Regardless of the reasons, it did give me an advantage during the Combat Training today.
"As an apology, I would like to invite you all for lunch this weekend."
"Do you have a gaming console?!" Denki asked, excited.
Luke nodded.
"What about a swimming pool?" Tsuyu asked.
Luke nodded.
"Can we come a bit early in the morning?" Shoji asked, Rikido standing next to him.
"Sure," Luke nodded, knowing they wanted to see the gym.
"Will your sister be there?" Minoru asked.
"Yes, why not?" Luke replied with a smile.
Of course, unlike Luke, most of the students frowned at Minoru, but Denki gave Minoru a thumbs up secretly.
"Will you come?" Luke asked, looking at Todoroki and Bakugo.
"Tch!" Bakugo tsked and just marched out of the class.
"Don't worry," Eijiro said. "I will bring him."
"I will try," Todoroki replied with a flat face. "I need to visit somewhere on the weekend…"
Then Midoriya walked into the class, making everyone gather around him, asking about his condition.
Tenya handed the Schedule to him and then began shouting at Fumikage who was sitting on the table.
"Relax," Momo said. "You did good by inviting everyone for lunch."
Luke thanked her, but he couldn't tell her the real reason behind this invitation. He didn't know if someone was watching Yuga outside school or not. The chances of it happening were enormously high.
However, the Saionji mansion in Musutafu would give Luke the best place to corrupt All For One's pawn, isolation Yuga from the outside.
"And let me know whenever you need another material," Momo continued, not minding Luke's quietness.
As Luke saw Momo walking out of the class, he neared the class' windows and saw Midoriya confronting Bakugo.
He must be explaining his Quirk to him… Luke guessed as he read Bakugo's expressions. Bakugo… barely in his teens…
No matter how much he tried, Luke couldn't remove the image of Bakugo killing him and Momo from his mind.
Things are already happening in a much different way, Luke thought as he saw All Might consoling Bakugo. I wonder how the USJ Incident during the Rescue mission would have played out… if All For One never received the intel…
There's no way Shigaraki would be in fighting condition with those injuries… Hmm… Perhaps Dr. Kyudai would use a healing Quirk on him. But, even then…
Sigh… if things are bound to happen as they did in my previous life, is there a way for me to take advantage of this USJ Incident if I let it happen during the rescue mission?
Luke remembered the Nomu who had talked to him.
What if he could bring out a reaction from another one as well?
What if he were to… capture a Nomu for himself and experiment on it?
Slowly, but surely, unknown to Luke, his morals were being twisted by his pursuit of mysteries, revenge fueling his hard, cold reasoning like never before.
