"St. Ignatius Academy is no safe haven for degenerate trash! This material proves that you are a danger to women and girls around you! Out of my sight! You are expelled! You shall never defile our hallowed halls with your disgusting presence again!"
--SLAP--
"You are no son of mine! I wish I had aborted you! How dare you write such horrible things!"
With those words, Aaron Zakhrov was thrown out with nothing but his brains and a thirst for never being weak or trusting again.
Bit by bit, he built his new kingdom, where his word was law, and where he controlled everything: his friends, his enemies, his lovers and most of all, his destiny.
Love this novel. The premise is good and with a bit of tweaks i could imagine this as a movie. Everything is great, but the pacing. I found it very enjoyable in the beginning then it became a bit fast, making it harder to make out the different characters and get to know them. However the main character is peak, and the concept is fantastic. I also found the family dynamic interesting. The story seems like a daydream with some realistic elements. The whole me and my boys taking over the world spiel. It's fantastic.
I'll admit that this story has been a ride, and I'm 17 chapters in. I'll start with the characters. Many of them are cartoonishly one-note, and I'm here for it. They work well with the setting. Chapters 1-17 give off an extended prologue vibe. We haven't progressed too far with the story's arc, but there's potential. While it sets up two villains, you'll find that the only antagonists to the main character are domineering women. There are three examples. The other women bend over backwards for our MC. Women aren't the only ones so far. The greatest defenders of our MC are two specific men. They will hold the line and protect him from any semblance of consequence, and it doesn't appear to be changing anytime soon. There is no real tension yet, or nothing to challenge him thus far, so you'll have to stick through it until something like that happens. Aaron is setting up to be the alpha male of our species, but I am uncertain if he, himself, has the star power to carry the series. The mythology of the character carries the story. Aaron himself is typical and relatively unexplored. More of his will hopefully be addressed in future chapters.
It has a good concept not gonna lie, there are many characters introduced but I think they will unfold after few chapters. Its a good read! Smart MC
