Reid’s handsome face turned to stone, his gaze sharp and evil. “Kendra, I am not keeping this baby.”


“No! You can’t hurt our child! This is your baby!”


Reid let out a nasty chuckle at her words. “My baby? Kendra, let’s be honest, you just wanted to use this baby to trap Cade. Unfortunately for you, Cade has known the baby is mine for a long time. Do you really think he would have spared your life if he wasn’t trying to protect my child?”


Cade had known all along that the baby wasn’t his. With that single thought, Kendra’s world crumbled, and she collapsed to the ground in a heap of disappointment.


Reid then turned and walked back to his Lamborghini, locking the doors before revving the engine and aiming the car directly at her.


Kendra lifted her head, her eyes wide with terror. It was clear now that Reid intended to kill her today.
