Chapter 30

Aria was consumed by a wave of shock, initially thinking it was Julian who had followed her, but as she lifted her head, her eyes met a pair of intense, dark irises that belonged only to one man: Cade.

“Let go of me, Cade!”

The thought of her dead child ignited a murderous rage within her.

In fact, Aria couldn't recall the specific details of her child’s death, but subconsciously, the mere sight of Cade triggered a phantom stabbing pain in her lower abdomen.

“No,” he growled against her lips, “I’ll never let you go again. Never.”

Cade kissed her with a desperate, punishing force, his lips and tongue tangling with hers as he lost himself in the sensation, wishing he could just hold her and kiss her until the end of time.

To her astonishment, her struggles only seemed to fuel his passion, driving her to the brink of madness.

With a surge of desperation, she lifted her leg and stomped hard on his foot. Cade grunted in pain but refused to release her.
