Squid Game 2017: 3 — Final Preview

Jun-soo picked up the phone: "Hello? What is it?"

He listened carefully to the voice on the other end, then turned to Myung-woo with a serious expression.

Myung-woo asked, "What's wrong?"

Jung-hyuk shouted, "Come on! Pull the trigger! Kill me! Come on, you f***ing bastard!"

"10... 9... 8... 7... 6... 5... 4... 3... 2... 1..."

Beep — all the lights shut off. The atmosphere turned eerily strange.

The two of them shook hands.

Blood covered the entire pane of glass.

Soo-mi looked down at the map in her hands.

Player 231 screamed as they fell.

Myung-woo asked, "Why? Why did you...?"

Jun-soo and Myung-woo had their arms locked around their enemies' necks.

Jung-hyuk stared in shock at the scene.

"Did you notice? Just now when we fought, the masked men didn't intervene. Maybe we should cause some real chaos tonight."

The broadcast began:

"The first game: Red Light, Green Light."

"This game is Three Bears — a triple challenge."

"Welcome to the third game: Musical Chairs."

"This game is Block Pull Jenga."

"Welcome to the fifth game. The fifth game is B.I.N.G.O."

"The final sixth game is: The Floor is Lava."

Gi-hyun lunged forward, hugging Jung-hyuk's leg. From his pocket, he pulled out a knife and stabbed Jung-hyuk in the thigh.

Jung-hyuk looked seriously at the doll, then up at the sky where seagulls flew across. A sudden, ominous feeling washed over him.

The doll turned. The game began—"Red Light, Green Light." No one moved.

"The second game is Puzzle."

"Welcome to the third game. This time, it's a quiz competition."

Player 18 stood before Soo-mi: "See? All the people you made friends with… they're no good."

Young-jun threw a punch: "You piece of s**t!"

Player 370 thrashed wildly: "Let me go, you f***er!"

Player 177 said, "I prefer shaking hands with the dead."

The timer hit 3 minutes and 29 seconds.

Player 262, watching the chaos erupt around him, suddenly had his bunk bed pushed over—he tumbled down with it.

Soon after, they swam a long distance away.

Then, a thunderous BOOM echoed behind them—

Boom.

The ship exploded.
