In 2017 South Korea, a group of people drowning in debt and driven to desperation were invited by a mysterious organization to participate in a high-stakes survival game with a massive cash prize. 456 players were taken to a secluded facility, where they had to compete in six childhood games to determine the sole winner. The losers would be eliminated (killed). The prize money was as high as 45.6 billion won, but the chances of survival were minuscule.
