Chapter 43: Grade 4 Healing Potion

"I know, it's my fault. I got cold feet," Henry said in a low voice as he looked at Aisha.

"We'll talk about this later. Oliver, go buy a Grade 4 Healing Potion." Looking at Aisha's right shoulder wrapped in bandages, Eric instructed Oliver.

The Pack Leader's strike had cut deep—it shattered the bones, and her shoulder would have fallen off if not for the muscles still anchoring it to her body.

Thankfully, Oliver reacted quickly and saved both Aisha's life and her shoulder from being completely severed.

After returning from the Dark Forest, they immediately took Aisha to a doctor, who used some strange method to stitch her shoulder back in place. He then instructed them to give her a Grade 4 Healing Potion as soon as possible.

"What's going on?" Hearing the commotion, Kai and Orion entered the lounge and saw Aisha's right shoulder covered in bandages, with everyone standing silently around her.

"Because of someone's carelessness, Aisha almost lost her life—and her shoulder was in pieces. But thankfully, she's out of danger," Oliver explained, glaring furiously at Henry.

"Enough, Oliver. I didn't tell you to go and buy a Grade 4 Healing Potion just to argue." Eric interrupted, knowing Oliver was angry and not thinking straight.

Henry had been a tank for more than two months and had never gotten cold feet before—Eric suspected there was more to it.

"About that… we don't have enough money for a Grade 4 Healing Potion." Right now, aside from personal savings, there were only 40 gold coins left after paying the doctor, and a Grade 4 Healing Potion cost 120 gold coins.

"What! Let me see—I think I have 15 gold coins."

"I don't have much, only 2 gold coins."

"I have 10 gold coins."

Hearing that they were short on money needed for the Grade 4 Healing Potion, Eric, Omar, and Sophia took out all their savings.

"Counting my savings of 7 gold coins, we're still short 46 gold coins," Oliver said, as Eric, Sophia, and Omar looked at Henry, Orion, and Kai.

"I don't have any money," Henry answered, lowering his head.

"I think I have 5 gold coins." Understanding the urgency, Orion headed toward his room to get all his savings.

"I only have 3 gold coins." As everyone looked at Kai, he dropped the bomb. After all, he only earned a salary of 6 gold coins—how could he possibly have any savings?

"I think we should sell the Hawk Bow," Sophia said, looking at the weapon on the table. After all, Hawk Bow was a Grade 4 magic weapon and could sell for a great price.

"Let's do that," Eric said decisively. A teammate's life was at stake.

"If it's just a Healing Potion, I should be able to take care of the rest."

As everyone resolved to sell off the Hawk Bow, Kai broke the silence. Aside from the items on the exchange list, Honey Points could also be used to buy anything from the Honey Pill Shop.

""Didn't you just say you only have 3 gold coins?" Oliver asked, wondering what Kai was talking about.

"It's true I only have 3 gold coins, but I have Honey Points, which I can use to buy things at the Honey Pill Shop. My Honey Points should cover the rest of the expense for the Grade 4 Healing Potion," Kai explained.

When purchasing from the exchange list, 1 Honey Point is roughly equal to 1 gold coin. However, Kai wasn't sure about the exact value of Honey Points when buying regular items from the shop.

"Let's do this—Oliver, you'll go with Kai. Take all the money along with the Hawk Bow. If those Honey Points don't work out, sell off the Hawk Bow and buy the Healing Potion," Eric said after thinking for a while.

He wasn't sure how the Honey Points that Kai mentioned worked, so he decided to have Oliver take the Hawk Bow with him—just in case Kai's Honey Points didn't work.

Just as the plan was made, Orion returned from his room with all his savings of 5 gold coins and handed them to Oliver.

Eric handed over 3 coins, each worth 5 gold coins. After Eric, Sophia and Omar also handed over their 10 and 2 gold coins, respectively.

Including all his savings, Oliver now had 79 gold coins, just 41 gold coins short of the cost of a Grade 4 Healing Potion.

"Henry, take out everything you have." Counting all the money, Oliver approached Henry and asked him to hand over whatever he had. Unlike Omar, who spends everything he gets on food, Oliver had never seen Henry spend a single penny. So, he was certain Henry had money—he just wasn't willing to take it out.

"Oliver, I already told you I don't have any money." With his head still lowered, Henry spoke in a low voice. Right now, he was feeling very guilty—first Aisha got injured because of him, and now he couldn't even contribute a single gold coin to help her.

"Oliver, hurry up and go get the Healing Potion." As Oliver was about to lash out at Henry, Eric stopped him and urged him to get the Grade 4 Healing Potion.

Soon, both Kai and Oliver left the Candy Complex and headed toward the Honey Pill Shop.

Along the way, Oliver didn't say a word and continued at a fast pace toward the Honey Pill Shop. Usually, it takes around 40 minutes to get from the Candy Complex to the shop, but Oliver and Kai arrived in less than half an hour.

"Welcome. What would you like to buy?"

Upon entering the Honey Pill Shop, instead of looking around at the vast number of pills and potions on display, Kai immediately headed toward Front Desk No. 2.

That was because, first of all, Miya wasn't at Front Desk No. 1, and secondly, if you need to buy or sell something, you have to do it at Front Desk No. 2.

Miya is only responsible for taking care of Alchemists—registering their daily tasks, supplying them with herbs, and keeping records of all the pills and potions made, as well as the herbs and other items used.

"Hi, Ares. I want to buy a Grade 4 Healing Potion." Arriving at Front Desk No. 2, Kai greeted Ares and asked about the Grade 4 Healing Potion.

"You're lucky. The Owner just finished making a few Grade 4 Healing Potions." Saying that, Ares flew toward the display cabinet and retrieved one.

"How much is it?" Looking at the Grade 4 Healing Potion, Oliver impatiently asked.

"For you, Kai—just 120 Honey Points." When Oliver asked about the price, Ares looked at him, then saw he was with Kai, so he turned to Kai and replied.
