SHADOW VEIN CHANNELING

The morning was quiet, barely touched by the sun. Inside the Mythic Base, while most were still asleep or slowly rising from their beds, Arslan was already awake and standing in the center of his room.

His breath was steady, his eyes sharp.

He didn't speak. He didn't yawn. He didn't stretch lazily. Instead, his fingers gripped the stone beam above him, and he began.

Pull-ups. One after another. Controlled. Deliberate. His body lifted smoothly, muscles flexing beneath the dim light of the room. After fifty repetitions, he dropped to the floor and moved to the wall.

Chin-ups. This time he varied his grip every ten counts—wide, narrow, reverse. His arms trembled, but he pushed through.

Push-ups. Basic, yet essential. Arslan dropped to the cold stone floor and began counting quietly in his mind. At one hundred, his arms burned. At two hundred, sweat dotted his brow. But he didn't stop until his chest touched the floor two hundred and fifty times.

Once finished, he sat in silence, catching his breath. Kar'Thael didn't interrupt. The silence was acknowledgment. Discipline was power.

After a cold rinse and a quick change, Arslan walked out into the courtyard, where the warm smell of spiced bread and tea lingered. A few Mythics were seated, chatting casually. Nirela glanced at him but didn't call out. Arslan gave a polite nod, grabbed a simple breakfast, and sat apart, eating efficiently.

Kar'Thael's voice echoed in his mind as he sipped the last of his tea.

> "Your body is beginning to shift. Good. It's time."

--

As he stepped into the training ground, Arslan's boots echoed across the hard tiles. The open space stretched wide, quiet in the early morning. He warmed up with short sprints, light combat rolls, and a series of muscle stretches. The tension from the previous training days seemed to melt off his body.

Then came the voice.

> "Today, we learn Technique 6: Shadow Vein Channeling."

Arslan stilled. "Sounds internal."

> "It is. And it is dangerous if misused."

Kar'Thael began explaining:

> "Your energy flows through your core—but it is wasted when it exits your body untrained. Shadow Vein Channeling allows you to direct that energy into your body—into your limbs, your spine, your breath. Into your reflexes. Into your strength."

Arslan raised an eyebrow. "So, it makes me faster?"

> "Not just faster. Sharper. Stronger. Think of it as wrapping every muscle fiber with dark steel. Your punches will feel like hammers. Your steps, like blades."

Arslan took a deep breath.

> "How do I start?"

The Process of Shadow Vein Channeling

Kar'Thael guided him step by step:

1. Focus energy in the chest – Arslan stood still, summoning dark energy not outward, but inward. It gathered in his core like a silent storm.

2. Redirect to the veins – He imagined dark tendrils splitting from his chest, crawling through his bloodstream. He felt them reaching—arms, legs, shoulders, neck.

3. Anchor at pulse points – Wrists, ankles, lower back, the base of the neck. These points throbbed as the dark energy anchored itself.

4. Synchronize with movement – Arslan leapt forward. The difference was immediate. His body felt ten pounds lighter. His speed increased. When he punched, a sonic thrum followed. When he kicked, the air itself parted.

He practiced dodging imaginary blows, stepping and twisting mid-air, using the charged veins to enhance reaction time. He even combined the technique briefly with Shadow Blades, the edges forming quicker, launching smoother.

After several rounds, his energy began to drain.

He collapsed to one knee, breathing hard. Steam rose faintly from his shoulders.

> "Fifteen minutes," Kar'Thael said. "Impressive for a first try. With stamina, you can stretch it longer."

Arslan looked at his hands, still tingling with remnant power.

> "It feels… like I'm wearing a new body."

> "No," Kar'Thael corrected. "You're finally unlocking your real one."

Training lasted hours. Arslan alternated between shadow sparring and high-speed movement drills while maintaining Shadow Vein Channeling. When the sun started to fall low, he finally called it.

His body ached. Not the usual pain. This was different—deep, pulsing, heavy.

In the way to the Base,

Kar'Thael whispered

"Arslan, you are improving now but I am far behind to use my full power ...."

Arslan shockingly asked, "What's your mean?"

KAR'THAEL replied," I haven't used my any power, not even Binding power yet, other than Dark energy.... "

"I don't understand" Arslan said

"Ooo bastard,I am training you to make you stronger "Kar'Thael said "Stronger enough to use my binding power when need against any Mid-level demons"

Arslan said surprisedly"I think,you have only 100 skills "

KAR'THAEL said "You don't know my Powers... When I got them all..."

" we will survive 100 days ,not for us but for our worlds, for families, for all innocent creatures"

KAR'THAEL said,"We will"
