"So… are you excited, Meera?"
The voice of the God of Game echoed through the air.
"Excited to know the real truth about the Heaven Library—what it's capable of… and what it's not?"
Meera's breath grew heavier. Her chest rose and fell sharply as tension crept in.
"Finally," she whispered. "It's time. I'll finally know the truth behind this mysterious library."
After a few moments of silence, GOG spoke again.
"I already told you—the Heaven Library is not an ordinary place. It is far more useful than you think. Even more powerful than the Divine Weapons you might find in Oblivar."
"You can forge weapons. You can find relics. But this library… there is only one across the entire multiverse. And it chose you."
As Meera listened, her expression changed continuously—
From curious, to shocked, to completely serious.
"This library... it chose me. That means I'm not ordinary anymore."
"A god gave me this. It must be for something greater than I imagined."
Then the God of Game continued.
"Now, let me tell you something interesting about Oblivar—the world you're about to live in."
"Oblivar is not just filled with humans. It also has monsters and other races that coexist—or compete—for survival. And just like humans, monsters too have the same power rankings."
"But here's the difference—they don't need to train or meditate to evolve."
Meera's eyes narrowed, the weight of those words sinking in.
"Monsters in Oblivar only need to consume stronger beings. That's it. They grow by eating."
"It may sound unfair—but it's true. And it's dangerous."
GOG paused for a moment, then added more somberly:
"Now, I need to tell you something you won't like."
Meera's fists clenched, bracing herself.
"Since the Heaven Library exists only once across the multiverse, and since it now belongs to you, you are a threat to the balance of power in Oblivar."
"So, to restore balance… there are conditions."
"Normally, people in Oblivar evolve by maintaining a balance between power and mana. But for you—it will be different."
Meera blinked in surprise.
"Wait… that means I don't need to cultivate or meditate like others? That sounds like good news…"
But GOG's tone darkened.
"No, Meera. It is not good news."
He paused again, letting the words hang in the air like a shadow.
"You won't just need to meditate and train…
You'll also need to consume monsters like beasts do."
"Each monster you defeat will grant you Consume Points (CP)—ranging from 5 to 10 per creature. And to evolve through each power rank, you'll need to gather a required amount of CP. This is your price for having the library."
"In other words—you must do double the work to grow.
Meditate, maintain balance, and hunt for CP."
Meera's legs weakened. For a second, she felt her knees would collapse.
"Why?" she wanted to scream. "Why always me?"
She swallowed her rage and fear and asked softly,
"Why do I have to bear this alone?"
The God didn't answer directly. Instead, he continued:
"I know this is difficult. Frustrating. Maybe even unfair."
"But don't worry. I've also given you something that can help."
"The Heaven Library."
Meera blinked. "But there were no books… not a single one."
"Yes," GOG said, "because you haven't earned any yet."
"The library is waiting to record your enemies—not hand you free knowledge."
"So, here is how it works…"
"Heaven Library reveals the weakness of any being. Be it a human, monster, spirit, or divine creature—everyone has flaws. When you witness someone using a skill, all you must do is say one word:
'WEAKNESS.'"
"If it's a living being, the library scans it and creates a book just for you."
"If it's a weapon, trap, or object—touch it, say 'WEAKNESS,' and it will do the same."
Meera stood silent.
Her fear didn't vanish, but something stronger replaced it: Understanding.
"I may not be the strongest. I may not be the fastest.
But now… I will know exactly where to strike."
She exhaled deeply.
The library hadn't given her a sword. It had given her the truth.
So what do you think?
Will Meera survive in this brutal world with the ability to reveal the weakness of any enemy?
Will her burden break her—or turn her into something greater?
Only time will tell in the deadly world of Oblivar...
📢 Author Note – From SoulRifter
Hey Arcana Adventurers!
This chapter was a heavy one. Meera just learned that her greatest gift—the Heaven Library—also comes with the greatest price. In a world like Oblivar, where even monsters evolve faster than humans, will knowledge alone be enough?
Every power has a price—and Meera's survival won't come easy. But remember: when you know your enemy's weakness, even the impossible becomes possible.
If you're enjoying Meera's journey so far, don't forget to collect the book and throw in a Power Stone to support the story. It really helps me keep the chapters coming consistently!
Let's see how far Meera can go. ⚔️📖
