Chapter 84 - Primal Justice in the Woods
My heart pounded frantically as I searched the shoreline, scanning every inch of the pristine white beach. The Maldives sun beat down relentlessly, but I barely felt its heat. All I could focus on was Seraphina's absence.
"Seraphina!" I shouted, my voice echoing across the water.
She'd been gone for over an hour now. No response to my calls. No trace of her in the house.
My mind raced with terrible possibilities. Had she tried to swim and gotten caught in a current? Was she lying somewhere injured? Or worse—had she actually attempted to escape me?
I growled at the thought, my wolf Zeth pushing against my consciousness, demanding to be let loose to track his mate.
*She's ours. Find her.*
