Chapter 42 - An Opulent Offering, A Tense Revelation
I froze in the doorway of my bedroom, unable to process what I was seeing. My once-plain room had transformed into something straight out of a luxury magazine spread.
Rich, emerald-green curtains framed my windows, replacing the faded beige ones I'd had since moving in.
