Chapter 63

Chapter 63 - Unveiled Fears and an Unwelcome Guest

The cool water of the pool embraced my sore body, offering sweet relief as I floated on my back, staring at the darkening sky above our Maldivian paradise. The sun was setting, painting everything in shades of gold and crimson. It should have been perfect.

I winced as I stretched my arms, my muscles protesting the movement. Kaelen had been insatiable since we arrived—claiming me in the bedroom, on the balcony, against the shower wall, and now here in the pool just minutes ago. My body bore the evidence of his passion in tender bruises and bite marks that he examined with possessive pride.

I continued floating, not ready to meet his gaze. "Just wondering if you'll ever get enough."

"Of you?" He chuckled, the sound deep and rumbling. "Never."
