Chapter 43: Wedding Tears and an Unexpected Comfort
Aria's POV
The pack house glowed with warmth as sunlight streamed through the tall windows. White flowers adorned every corner, their sweet scent filling the air. I stood near the altar, watching my mother transform into the happiest bride I'd ever seen.
Mom looked radiant in her simple white dress. Her eyes sparkled with joy as she gazed at Gamma Alaric Beaumont, her mate and soon-to-be husband. After years of loneliness following Dad's death, she'd finally found happiness again.
My throat tightened with emotion. I was genuinely happy for her, but seeing her marry someone else made Dad's absence even more profound.
"You okay?" Gareth whispered, appearing beside me in his formal suit.
I nodded, trying to keep my composure. "Just emotional. She deserves this happiness."
The officiant's voice rang out, "By the power of the Moon Goddess, I now pronounce you husband and wife. You may kiss your bride."
