The sound of construction echoed through the clearing.
Stone met foundation. Mana-laced bone locked into place. Builders, both summoned and civilian, worked in harmony. Miners delivered refined ore to the new smelting zones. Scouts cleared outer zones for irrigation. Mage skeletons carved enchantment runes into newly placed wall nodes.
And Iden stood in the middle of it all—calm, focused, commanding.
"Expand the southeast quadrant," he said. "Double the farming plots. Install conduit lines from the Relay Core to the new processing centers. Assign Builder-9 to fabricate housing modules for the incoming villagers."
Behind him, the Mana Refinement Nexus pulsed steadily. Its energy seeped into the infrastructure like roots beneath soil.
"Beginner phase of civilization," Iden muttered. "Let's see what that triggers—"
And then, the world shifted.

[Ardent_Shade]: What? Someone already hit Beginner Tier?![StormWolf]: No way. Most of us are barely holding camps.[Scarborn_Unit_3]: Whoever that is… they just painted a target on their back.[Vana]: …I want to find them. Not to kill them. To follow them.[RazorPeak]: Anyone got a location ping? Coordinates?![Unknown_Crescent]: Mark my words. If they've built that much… they have resources.[Lucian_Dusk]: …or power. Either way, we'll see if they last.
Iden watched the notifications fade with a strange stillness in his chest.
"We're not in the shadows anymore," he murmured.
Rael and Nyra joined him shortly.
"So it's official now," Nyra said. "We're on the map."
Rael placed a hand on Iden's arm.
"You're building something that makes people hope again," she said. "That scares others."
Kael stepped out of the administration tent. "It's already begun. The first probe scout was spotted three clicks out. No flag, no signature."
Iden turned back to the foundation of what would soon become their Trade Nexus and Governance Hall.
"Let them come."
"We don't hide anymore."
"We build."
