horrible things he did

SCENE: Abandoned Building – Night – Cold Silence

The wind howls through shattered windows of an old building. Inside, flickering lights cast shadows over three unconscious bodies sprawled on the floor—Blake's friends. Blake himself, the college bully, is tied to a chair in the center of the room with heavy rope, his face already bruised.

He begins to stir.

Martin (voice cold and distant):

"Rise and shine, Blake."

Blake (groggy, frightened):

"W-What... what the hell is this...? Where the f—"

His eyes widen in horror as he sees the lifeless bodies of his friends laid out before him. His breathing quickens. He struggles against the ropes.

Blake (panicking):

"What the f—what is this?! Let me go! LET ME GO!"

From the shadows, Martin steps forward. Calm. Smiling. Dressed neatly, as if untouched by the carnage.

Martin:

"You always wanted to be the center of attention, didn't you? Now look—you've got the spotlight all to yourself."

Blake (shouting):

"You're insane! Do you know who my father is?! He'll find you—he'll f***ing kill you!"

Martin doesn't respond. Instead, he calmly rolls out a small surgical table—a steel tray with various tools: scalpel, pliers, a serrated knife, a bottle of kerosene, and rope soaked in gasoline. Blake's panic turns to full-blown terror.

Blake (screaming):

"PLEASE—what do you want?! MONEY?! I can get you anything! Just let me go!"

From the doorway, Oliver enters slowly, visibly shaken. He looks at Blake, trembling.

Martin (softly, to Oliver):

"Oliver... remember what I told you. You don't have to be afraid of him anymore."

Oliver (stammering):

"I-I can't... this is too much..."

Martin walks to Oliver, places a hand on his shoulder gently.

Martin:

"He made you a slave. Humiliated your father. Laughed while you cried. Do you think a man like that deserves kindness?"

Blake (pleading):

"I said I'm sorry, alright?! I was joking back then—just jokes! Please don't do this!"

Martin (to Blake):

"Jokes? You told Oliver to lick your shoe. You told him to get his mother's nudes. You punched his father in the face and laughed as he bled. Do you think this—" (he gestures at the tools) "—is a joke too?"

Martin turns to Oliver, slowly holds out the knife.

Martin:

"Take it. You don't have to kill him. Just... let him feel what you felt."

Oliver (shaking his head):

"I—I can't. I'm not like that. I'm not a monster..."

Martin (sighs, disappointed):

"Then I will do it for you. Watch closely. Because sometimes, monsters are the only ones who can punish other monsters."

He walks to Blake. Blake is crying now.

Blake (sobbing):

"Please... please... don't. I'll never hurt anyone again. I swear to God—"

Martin:

"God's not watching tonight, Blake."

He pulls out the scalpel and slices both corners of Blake's mouth, turning his cries into garbled screams.

Blake (muffled, screaming):

"MmmMMmmmh!!"

Blood pours from his torn cheeks.

Martin (coldly):

"Now your mouth is as wide as your ego."

He pulls out pliers, then leans in close.

Martin:

"Let's see how sorry you really are. If you don't say it in ten seconds, I'm taking two fingers."

Blake sobs and shakes, mouth dripping blood.

Martin (calmly counting):

"Ten... nine... eight..."

Blake (garbled):

"S-Sorry! I'm sorry! Please!"

Martin pauses.

Martin:

"Good. But not enough."

He cuts off Blake's tongue with the knife in one swift motion. The scream is like a demon's wail, muffled and full of agony. Blood gushes. Blake convulses.

Oliver (vomiting):

"Oh god... oh god..."

Martin stands silently, watching Blake squirm.

Martin (flatly):

"I told you, Blake. We treat people the way they treat us."

He walks over to a nearby canister, pours kerosene on Blake, and holds up a lighter.

Martin (to Oliver):

"Leave if you want. This isn't your burden anymore."

Oliver stumbles out, trembling.

Blake (on fire, in agony):

"MMMGHHHhh!!"

Martin lights the flame. Blake's body erupts in fire. His last moments are screams and staggering panic. He crashes through a window, running through the streets on fire, before collapsing. The camera fades to the next morning.

SCENE: Hospital – Day

A doctor holds up a bag with Blake's burned clothes to his father.

Doctor:

"I'm sorry, sir. The body was burned beyond recognition. But the clothing confirms it—your son's gone."

Blake's father, stunned, drops his cigar.

SCENE: Present Day – Prison Visiting Room

Martin sips tea across the table from James, a small smile on his face.

Martin:

"So yes... I set the world on fire once. And I'd do it again."

James (numb):

"You burned him alive... for revenge."

Martin:

"No. Not for revenge... for justice. The kind you can't write in courtrooms or police reports. The kind monsters understand."

He sips again.

Martin:

"Now tell me, James... if you were there, if it was your father Blake punched... what would you have done?"

James doesn't answer.
