Location: Lab Factory
Mr. Aoshi stood frozen, unsure what to do next.
Mrs. Aoshi, trembling, looked at her husband with tears running down her face.
"Is this how we're going to die?" she whispered. "Do you realize we're about to be killed by our own project? The thing we created with our own hands…"
Mr. Aoshi pulled her into a tight hug. "This is not the end," he said firmly. "We're going to survive."
It was already the middle of the night. The building seemed calm now… too calm.
Mr. Aoshi peeked outside the office window, then turned to his wife.
"Stay close," he said.
They started moving slowly down the stairwell—step by step. Quiet. Careful.
Low screeches echoed through the halls. The disgusting creatures—they were asleep now.
As they moved down, they passed dead bodies—twisted, broken, and vile.
They reached the 4th floor.
Then the 3rd.
It was worse. Rotten body parts covered the floor, bones cracked underfoot, and thick, slimy blood smeared the walls.
Still—they didn't stop.
Suddenly, Mrs. Aoshi tripped and fell to the ground. Her eyes locked with one of the sleeping creature's.
Its eyes twitched open.
She froze.
Then let out a scream.
Mr. Aoshi turned in panic. "Honey! What happened? Why'd you scream like that?!"
She stood shaking, breathing hard. "This place… it's too much. It's disgusting," she said, then bent down and vomited.
"Just a few more steps," Mr. Aoshi said, helping her up. "We're almost there."
But before they could move again—a loud rumble echoed from above.
The building shook.
Screeches burst through the silence.
They had awakened the devil.
No one dared to wait around.
Mr. and Mrs. Aoshi ran down the stairs at full speed—but the infected were faster. They were catching up. Fast.
"Run, honey! They're gaining on us!"
They reached the ground floor—but it was already overrun. Everyone down there had been infected.
One of the creatures lunged at Mrs. Aoshi, tackling her to the ground, clawing for her throat.
She fought back, pushing hard against its neck, keeping its mouth away.
The thing snarled, snapping its jaws—trying to sink its teeth into her flesh.
Mr. Aoshi didn't hesitate. He grabbed a thick metal rod nearby and slammed it into the creature's head.
It didn't die—but it dropped long enough for them to break free.
They ran out the building, heading straight for their car.
Fumbling with the keys, Mr. Aoshi jumped in and tried to start it. Nothing.
He tried again.
Still nothing.
Outside—thud… thud… thud—the infected surrounded them.
They began pounding on the windows, smearing blood across the glass.
Just as one was about to smash through—
VROOOM!
The engine roared to life.
Mr. Aoshi hit the gas and the car took off, tires screeching down the empty street.
They didn't look back.
They were going home—to prepare…
Because the real disaster hadn't even begun. By this time the Infected had already scattered themselves into the streets.
Location: Sakura's Party
They were still enjoying themselves—laughing, making jokes, and playing games.Miya tried to flow with them, but her mind wasn't at ease.
Yukimura decided to step out and look for a better network signal. As soon as he stepped outside, he saw someone standing in the distance.
He couldn't see the person's face clearly. He waved casually. "Hello? Good evening, sir. Why are you here?"
The figure stepped forward silently.
"Hello?" Yukimura called again. "Who are you?"
But the man didn't answer. He charged, running toward Yukimura at full speed, leaping at him like a wild animal.
The infected pounced on his back and sank its fangs into Yukimura's shoulder.
But Yukimura was brave—he didn't freeze. He threw the infected to the ground, grabbed a shovel nearby, and began slamming it into the creature.
He didn't stop. Again and again—until its head was crushed to pieces.
He ran back inside, yelling.
By this time, Miya had already gone to bed.
"Everybody—we're not safe! We're not safe!" Yukimura shouted, panicked."There is a monster outside! I just killed it!"
He pulled up his sleeve and showed them the bite on his neck. It looked infected and gross.
People gasped. "What's going on?" someone asked.
Then one of the boys shouted, terrified, "Everyone check your phones! The news!"
They all pulled out their phones—and saw breaking news footage:
Strange creatures spotted crawling out of the Lab Factory.
The room fell silent. Fear spread through every corner.
Sai and Sakura immediately looked at Miya's empty seat.
"She's asleep," someone whispered. "She doesn't know yet…"
They both looked worried—thinking about Miya's parents.
People began calling their loved ones. Some woke up from sleep and started dialing too, trying to make sure their families were safe.
Miya wasn't asleep. She was in her room—crying.Still trying to call her parents. Still getting no answer.
Yukimura, still shaky, was trying to call his dad when suddenly… his phone slipped from his hand.
He was shivering. Blood started dripping from his nose and mouth.
"What's wrong, Yukimura?" his girlfriend asked. "You're bleeding!"
He bent over, clutching his ears. His eyes started turning red. Strange sounds echoed in his head. He was losing control.
His girlfriend helped him sit on a chair. Everyone was watching in silence, nervous and confused.
Yukimura whispered, "Please… everyone stay safe. I think… I think I'm losing myself."
One of his friends grabbed cotton wool to clean the blood on him.
Yukimura's heart raced. He could feel the blood pulsing in everyone around him. He could hear it… smell it.
His girlfriend sat beside him, still wiping his face—
Then it hit him.
A thought.Blood. Blood. Blood…
His mouth twitched. He leaned in.
And then—GULP!
He sank his teeth deep into her neck, gripping her like an animal who hadn't eaten in days.
She screamed in agony.
Everyone turned, shocked.Blood was everywhere.
Yukimura stood up—and screamed.
"Not good," someone muttered, backing away.
Some people didn't understand what was happening, so a few friends stepped forward.
"Bro, you okay? Should we take you to the hospital?"
Yukimura looked at them… and smiled with a wide, unnatural grin.
Then lunged.
He tackled his best friend to the ground and began draining his blood right in front of them all.
Everyone screamed.
Panic exploded.
Students ran in every direction. Some were crying. Some were pushing. Chaos had erupted.
