Chapter 9

"Sophia is an adult, and she's a lawyer. How could she just disappear?"

"Maybe she's just too busy with work and doesn't want to be bothered by you..."

Alexander’s brows knitted tighter and tighter.

Just then, his bodyguard called.

"Mr. Alexander, we've checked the surveillance. A week ago, your wife got into a strange man's car at the villa gate."

"The two of them looked very intimate. After they left, she never came back."

Alexander's face turned livid, but Isabella feigned a comforting, understanding tone.

"She probably had her own arrangements, and that's why she left with another man. Otherwise, you clearly assigned a driver to her, so why would she get in a different man's car? This must be a misunderstanding."

"Enough!"

Alexander snapped, "Send me that surveillance footage!"

"I will find Sophia, even if I have to go to the ends of the earth and pay any price!"

Isabella frowned slightly.

She was the one who had fed the bodyguard that story.
