She was speaking in the Nihonland language to confirm Jacob's identity.
"I'm Chinese." Jacob shrugged. "Please don't talk to me in Nihondland's language or your language, I wouldn't understand."
"You're Chinese?" Celinda then started conversing in Chinese, "What are you doing here?"
"Just walking around." Jacob glanced around at the empty streets. He was a little guilty to say this as there were no attractions in that place, and it was already near morning.
"In this weather and at this hour?" Celinda didn't believe it either. She knew that Chinese people could get a little sentimental at times, but it didn't make sense for someone to be wandering the streets at this hour, especially when there was a light drizzle.
"I can't sleep," Jacob said then changed the topic. "I believe you haven't been sleeping well either."
"How did you know?" Celinda was stunned.
