"Watch where you touch me. Don't think I'll let you get away with this just because you're a woman," Jacob murmured. He was a man of principles and he couldn't help thinking she was taking advantage of him.
"Cut the crap." Celinda was unbothered. She searched for a while and didn't come up with anything in particular. She found Jacob's wallet and there was a picture in it.
Someone familiar was in the photo. Phoebe! The streets hadn't been peaceful after Phoebe's death, and Celinda could immediately recognize Phoebe in the photo.
"What's your relationship with her?" Celinda was taken aback.
"We were friends." Jacob was still a little upset to see Phoebe's picture. Although he had accepted the fact that she was gone, he still wanted to make sure the area was cleansed before he left.
"I think I've finally found the culprit behind these recent vicious cases." Celinda came to a realization. She pointed her gun at Jacob. "Say, were you behind them?"
