Frey Dragonheart was worried sick when his disciple did not come in the training session they had in the morning.
After fixing the issues with the academy security breach caused by the vampires, this was going to be the first training session with Irina.
But she was nowhere to be found in the whole academy even after being searched in the dorms, library and training grounds, the places she visited frequently.
After waiting until the afternoon he came to the student council office. He had decided to meet her brother Lucian, if there was a chance he knew about where she was.
When Lucian saw the principal there he was startled. But after listening to the principal he remembered the last conversation with Irina.
She had said that she would be soon going to hunt since her time of three months was approaching.
When he told the principal about that he was relieved and left the student council.
This meant that Irina would be back by tomorrow at least. He thought that she probably did not tell him because it might disturb him.
What a considerate little girl!
That's what he had thought. But by the end of the day Irina was nowhere to be seen even in the city or the forest.
Was she really out for the hunt?
It was not doubtful for now. But how long can lies last?.
**
Irina was on her way back when it hit her. The wave of heat from deep within her body itself.
Her blood felt like it was boiling and the heat was like it was burning her insides.
Her head was buzzing and she could not make out a clear sense of what her worries aides were saying.
The aides were worried when they saw the princess in such a state but everyone understood what was happening on just a few moments.
It was her hunt that had triggered rage. She needed to hunt on her own before she loses her mind.
So the aides got away from her, giving her side and repaired time to reach the concious state.
They did not have to wait long.
One of them spotted a pack of goblins not far away from them.
All they had to do was to lead the princess there. They agitated her and as expected ran after them to get rid of them.
But as soon as they reached the pack, the aides disappeared from her view.
The princess did not get frustrated and tried to regain her control over herself. As she saw the pack of goblins she felt an irresistible urge to kill every single one of them.
She somehow understood in her subconscious state that she was in a rage and she had to kill some monsters to get out of this condition.
She did not even cared to take out her sword and started killing those goblins like they were just dolls with her bare hands.
After it all was done she remained her control and saw the greenish blood her hands were covered in.
Ohh she had just killed sumne goblins. It was not a big matter.
Right now the matter was she had to return to the academy by tomorrow or else her master would be suspicious.
It was afternoon right now and if she moved at full speed with the help of her lightning affinity then she should be able to get back by midnight.
The aides were able to keep up with her speed because they were all at master ranks and they were used to such fast movements.
They did not encounter many beasts or monsters in their way and if they found some Irina would take care of them to keep her rage at bay.
By the night time her rage was all over. It was still halfway far from the academy.
As she rested for a few minutes she took the ice magic stone and studied the details on it.
It was not just a magic stone, it was etched with some ancient symbols and signs that she did not understand but they still captivated her.
She decided to absorb the magic stone and then resume the journey. Afterall taking such a treasure to the academy just for it to get confiscated was not in her plans.
Her aides protected her while she absorbed the magic stone.
But after some time of absorbing and circulating is magic throughout her body, she ended up coughing blood
Turns out the amount of magic in the magic stone was too much for Irina to handle.
Her body and rank were not totally suitable at this time to absorb the stone.
Just as the aides were rushing to help her something had already shifted.
Irina had started to become stable once more. It turns out the silver chain hanging in her neck was helping her store the ice magic.
It was somewhat like a secondary function of the chain. This chain had proven to be unusually good to be used as a artifact.
Its effects were immediate. And the bleeding from her mouth stopped when the chain was activated.
It seemed like the blood had activated the second function of the chain.
The aides relaxed once more and they all started to move in the direction of the academy.
By dawn they were at the Nymeria city. Irina got out of the group and rushed towards the academy.
She got to her dorms and got ready for her training session. She did not want to miss it again.
Also doing things like that and disappearing might make the principal suspicious of her behaviour.
She just had to act normal for a few days. After that she could continue her next missions.
A letter along with some of the water magic stones were sent by her to the king.
The letter stated the situation in which the mission was completed.
When she reached the training grounds she looked at her master who seemed to be already waiting for her.
Had he already suspected her? No way it was impossible.
