Chapter 41: The First Unleashing of the Perfect Form

"Roar!!"

Jimmy's words completely enraged Dr. Lizard. With a furious roar, he knocked Jimmy over and swung his tail brutally at Jimmy's head.

In an instant, Jimmy's head spun, his vision blurred. The next moment, he was grabbed and smashed repeatedly onto the ground by the Lizard.

At that moment, Peter — the Amazing Spider-Man — arrived. Seeing his master being pummeled, Peter immediately joined the battle. He managed to kick Dr. Lizard away from behind, saving Jimmy, but in a direct clash, Peter was punched and sent flying instantly.

Cough cough. "Peter! His strength has increased too much — you can't win! Hold him for a few seconds for me!" Jimmy shouted, coughing, then took out a green serum and injected it fiercely into his own wrist without hesitation.

Peter turned and saw Jimmy injecting the serum. "Hey! Isn't that the—" Peter tried to stop him, but Dr. Lizard roared and charged at Peter again.

Peter had no choice but to keep fighting.

Meanwhile, Jimmy felt that one shot wasn't enough and quickly took out another vial, injecting it into his body. As the second shot entered, an excruciating tearing pain spread through his whole body.

Gritting his teeth, Jimmy fumbled in his space ring and pulled out the blue antidote.

Gasping heavily, Jimmy shouted toward Peter, "Peter! The blue one is the antidote! Aaahhh!!"

No longer able to control himself, Jimmy let out a thunderous roar and charged at Dr. Lizard.

"What?!" Peter had just turned his head when he felt a gust of wind blow past. In the next instant, Dr. Lizard was smashed away.

"Hurry up! I can't hold on much longer!" Jimmy roared. He tossed the device Dr. Lizard had been carrying to Peter, then collapsed to the ground, screaming in pain. "Aaaahhh!!"

Crack! Crack!

Two blood-soaked arms burst out from the sides of Jimmy's ribcage, shredding his stretchable black Spider-Man suit. Next, two sharp horns grew out of his head, tearing the mask apart.

"Oh my god!" Peter stared in shock as Jimmy started to mutate.

"Roar!!"

With a low roar, Jimmy transformed into a massive four-meter-tall monster. His head resembled that of a velociraptor rather than a smooth lizard head, with two long horns nearly a meter long.

From his shoulders and ribcage sprouted six powerful arms, each ending in sharp claws. The remaining pieces of his black suit only covered his waist and thighs. His body was covered in black-brown scales, and a two-meter-long snake-like tail swayed behind him.

"Roar!!"

The transformed Jimmy roared and charged at the stunned Dr. Lizard.

"Uhh... I should go install the antidote!" Peter muttered to himself, quickly picking up the blue serum and climbing up the tower to install the device. "Activating dispersal system. Countdown: two minutes," a mechanical voice announced as he finished loading the antidote.

Peter anxiously watched the countdown while glancing down at the battle below.

Dr. Lizard stood no chance against the current Jimmy-Lizard hybrid. Completely overwhelmed, Dr. Lizard's arms couldn't match Jimmy's six; even his tail was outmatched. Jimmy grabbed Dr. Lizard's arms with four of his own, while the other two pounded his stomach repeatedly. Dr. Lizard's tail was restrained by Jimmy's massive tail. Finally, with a furious roar, Jimmy hurled Dr. Lizard far away.

Dr. Lizard tried to stand up, but Jimmy arched his abdomen — thwip! — a ball of spider silk shot from his navel, binding Dr. Lizard into a sticky cocoon.

"Wow! Master is just insane!" Peter exclaimed in awe.

Just then, the device next to Peter completed its countdown. A blue light burst out, forming a cloud of blue mist in the air, which then spread as a gentle drizzle of blue particles from the sky.

Touched by the blue mist, Jimmy-Lizard roared in pain, collapsing onto the ground and slowly beginning to shrink and transform back into human form.

"Aaahhh!" Jimmy screamed in agony as he turned human again and collapsed.

"Master!!" Peter called out, trying to rush to him, but just then, multiple helicopters shined their spotlights on Oscorp's rooftop.

"Damn! They're back again!" Peter muttered in alarm.

"Spider-Man! You're under arrest! Surrender now!!" shouted a blond, middle-aged police captain through a loudspeaker — none other than Gwen's father.

"Master! We have to leave!" Peter shouted behind him, but there was no sign of Jimmy, only the now-human Dr. Connors lying on the ground.

"...Looks like he already escaped," Peter sighed helplessly. "Guess Master slipped away first!"

At that moment, the captain gave the order to arrest Peter.

"Guess I have to run too! Huh? What's that?!" Peter noticed a white dagger on the ground.

"Whatever! I'll grab it first!" Peter snatched up the dagger and started to flee as Gwen's dad and the officers aimed at him.

Meanwhile, Jimmy, wearing only the remains of his black Spider-Man suit like a pair of swim trunks, was stumbling through a dark alley, half-naked. His body felt utterly drained, and he accidentally collapsed to the ground. "Huff... Huff..." Jimmy panted, forcing himself up to continue running.

Finally, he arrived at a familiar door but fell again, utterly exhausted. He crawled up the steps with great effort and knocked on the door.

"Who is it?" A familiar female voice called out. A bespectacled girl opened the door curiously — only to see the half-naked Jimmy.

Jimmy's vision blurred more and more until he could see nothing at all.

"Ah! Jimmy!!" Karen screamed and quickly rushed to support him. She was surprised at how light he felt and easily helped him inside.

Karen carried Jimmy to her room, fetched some water, and began wiping down his body.

Finally, blushing, she helped remove the last piece of his black suit. "This suit... is it...?"

When Jimmy regained consciousness, he slowly opened his eyes to an unfamiliar ceiling, surrounded by pink decorations. He realized he was covered with a pink blanket and saw Karen sleeping beside the bed.

Jimmy sat up halfway and froze. In a nearby mirror, he saw that his left eye had turned back to a normal black pupil. The bony horns on his head were gone...

He opened his mouth wide, realizing that his tongue was no longer forked. At that moment, Jimmy felt a shocking realization:
