That night, Nic sat alone in his room, deep in thought. With Unity's new headquarters set to be completed tomorrow, he wanted to do something special for his girlfriends. A gift, something to show appreciation. Without telling any of them, Nic got up, slipped into his usual casual clothes, and headed out to a luxurious mall known for its high-end brands—even at this late hour, the place still glowed brightly.
He headed straight for the best clothing store in the building. After wandering a bit, he found a boutique with an upscale, elegant design. As soon as he stepped inside, the staff took notice—and not in a good way.
"Is that broke high school kid actually thinking of buying something here?" one of the employees whispered.
"If he asks for help, it's all you. I'm not wasting time on that," another replied with a scoff.
The staff deliberately avoided Nic, not even pretending to offer service. They clearly didn't see him as a "serious" customer. Nic noticed their attitude but didn't react—he simply sighed.
Then, a female employee with a slightly wrinkled uniform approached him. She looked nervous, as if it was her first time working the front floor.
"Good evening. Can I help you with something?" she asked, voice wavering.
Nic gave her a glance and asked, "Where's the section with the most expensive brands here?"
She blinked in surprise but nodded and led him to the boutique's exclusive section. Meanwhile, the other staff kept sneering.
"Yeah right, like he can actually afford that stuff."
In the exclusive area, high-end clothing for both men and women filled the racks—complete with matching accessories.
"If I buy everything here, how much would it cost?" Nic asked casually.
The woman gaped. "A-are you serious about buying it all?"
Nic nodded. "Yeah. Just give me the total."
Panic rushed through her face as she ran to the staff room to calculate everything through the system. A senior staff member overheard and came out to investigate the so-called big spender.
"You sure it's him who wants to buy all that?" the senior asked skeptically.
The young staff nodded. Keeping it professional, the senior returned with the final total.
"The total comes to 2 billion. We accept card payments, of course."
Without hesitation, Nic pulled out a card and swiped it. A small Ting sound confirmed the successful transaction.
The senior staff froze for a moment, then dashed to the office to verify it. The moment he saw the funds had really gone through, his eyes lit up. This kid wasn't just serious—he was loaded.
He rushed back out, barking orders for the staff to start packing every item Nic had just bought. The employees who'd mocked Nic earlier now lowered their heads in shame.
"I'll step out for a bit—got some other stuff to check out," Nic said calmly as he turned to leave.
"Of course! We'll have everything packed and ready when you return," the senior replied, all smiles.

Not long after Nic left, a girl with golden-orange hair entered the store. Immediately, the staff straightened up and greeted her in unison.
"Welcome, Miss Chloe!"
Yes—this boutique was owned by Chloe's family, and currently managed by Chloe herself. She walked in briskly, her eyes scanning the activity.
"Why is the store suddenly this busy?" she asked.
The senior staff beamed. "A customer just made a massive purchase—two billion in total!"
Chloe raised an eyebrow. "What kind of customer buys that much?"
The staff pointed her toward the most recent transaction. Chloe leaned in to read the name... and her eyes widened slightly.
"Nic...?"

Meanwhile, Nic had wandered into a much humbler shop. A small knitting store caught his attention. Inside, customers could select yarn, knit their own pieces, or order finished products. Curious, Nic stepped in and began browsing. Colorful knitted displays lined the walls, catching his eye.
As he examined the yarns, a pretty girl with short brown hair walked up to him. Her voice was soft as she offered a few material suggestions.
Nic followed her guidance and picked out a few items.
"My name's Vera. I run this store," she said with a warm smile.
Nic introduced himself, and they began chatting while trying to knit together. When Vera asked if he had any experience, Nic smiled lightly. "This is my first time."
Seeing him struggle, Vera gently guided him. Her calm, attentive teaching made Nic feel at ease, and he followed her instructions quietly. Slowly but surely, he got the hang of the basic stitching.
As it got later, Nic decided to buy a few materials to practice at home. He thanked Vera and headed for the door. But just before stepping out, he discreetly fired a **Love Shoot** at her—then left, leaving Vera unaware of what had just happened.

Back at the boutique, Chloe was pacing. She kept checking her watch, growing frustrated.
"Is this customer really coming back? It's been over an hour already," she said aloud.
A staff member tried to reassure her. "I'm sure he'll return."
At that very moment, Nic walked through the entrance. Chloe froze, then pointed at him in shock.
"Wait... you? Aren't you in my class?"
Nic took a second to place her face. "Oh, so this is your store?" he asked, sounding genuinely impressed though still calm.
"Yes, I'm managing it right now. But seriously... did you really buy all that stuff? Two billion?"
Nic gave a casual nod, then turned to a nearby staff member. "Are the bags ready?"
The employee quickly motioned for the others to bring out Nic's purchase—large, neatly packed bags filled with clothes and accessories. They were set in front of him.
"Would you like us to load these into your car, sir?"
Nic frowned. "Car? I walked here. I'll carry them myself."
Chloe blinked. "Huh?! Are you insane? You're gonna carry all this home on foot? That's so weird!"
Nic sighed. "That's how it is ."
Chloe considered for a moment, then said, "Since you just spent a fortune in my store, I'll give you a ride. How's that?"
Nic hesitated—he didn't want to trouble her. But given how late it was, he finally agreed. Chloe smiled and told the staff to prep her car for the ride.
