A Grand Gesture and Its Hidden Truth

## Hazel's POV

"I swear your exact words were 'don't come,'" Sebastian's low voice teased through my phone as I finished adjusting the last model's collar.

I smiled, watching the rehearsal unfold while holding the phone to my ear. "I said wait until after the show. That's very different from 'don't come.'"

"Semantics," he replied, and I could hear the smile in his voice. "How's the final rehearsal going?"

"Almost perfect." I gave the model an approving nod. "Just one more run-through and we're done for today."

"Good, because I have plans for you tonight."

His words sent shivers down my spine. "Oh? What kind of plans?"

"The kind that involve you, me, and a very private dinner overlooking Milan."

I lowered my voice. "You're making it very hard to focus on work right now."

Sebastian chuckled. "That's the idea. Look for me when you're done."
