An Admission Over Dinner

## Hazel's POV

The aroma of fresh, carefully prepared food filled the air as Sebastian guided me to our table. I was surprised to see a spread already waiting—my favorite appetizers arranged beautifully alongside a bottle of wine I'd once mentioned loving.

"You ordered ahead," I said, touched by his thoughtfulness.

Sebastian pulled out my chair. "I know you had a difficult morning. I thought you might be hungry."

His consideration made my heart flutter. Maybe last night's tension had just been a misunderstanding after all. I settled into my seat, realizing how famished I actually was.

"Thank you," I said softly. "This looks amazing."

Sebastian sat across from me, his gaze warm yet somehow guarded. Something lingered between us—an unspoken tension from yesterday that neither of us seemed ready to address.
